Chapter 3689: The Coil Dragon Grand Formation

"What?" Mo Huang stared blankly at Zhan Wuhen, about to ask for clarification when her expression sharpened, her gaze fixed on the dark speck ahead.

A pair of colossal hands suddenly reached out from within the dark speck, gripping either side of it, and then forcefully wrenched it apart. The dark speck exploded outward in an instant, transforming into a massive black hole.

Within the black hole, several figures—some tall, some short, some large, some small—stood in a row, their forms wavering like shadows. These figures crossed the boundary from another world, yet they strolled through as casually as if taking a leisurely walk in a garden.

When they stepped out of the darkness, revealing themselves in full, the pressure of the Demon Saints erupted with a thunderous force, and the Star Boundary trembled.

To the east, dawn was just breaking, the morning sun beginning to rise. The Demon Saints of the Demon Realm had all appeared.

Mo Huang bared her teeth in a grimace, finally understanding what Zhan Wuhen had meant—the Demon Saints had crossed over! And she finally understood why Zhan Wuhen's face had been somewhat pale when he rushed back earlier. Presumably, he had already clashed with the Demon Saints within that darkness.

But there was one thing Mo Huang couldn't quite figure out—how had the Demon Saints been waiting on the other side of the inter-realm passage? The very moment Can Ye opened the passage, they appeared.

A coincidence? Or could it be that even while Can Ye was in the Star Boundary, he was still able to communicate with the Demon Saints of the Demon Realm? Otherwise, how could their timing have been so perfectly synchronized?

There was no time for further thought, and thinking about it wouldn't help anyway. The inter-realm passage was open, the Demon Saints had arrived. The only option was battle!

Looking up, Mo Huang counted exactly ten figures. Yang Kai had already reported all the intelligence from the Demon Realm's side, so she could identify each of the ten at a single glance.

The Force Demon Huang Wuji, the Blood Demon Xue Li, the Flame Demon Chi Yan, the Feather Demon Fu Yu, the Stone Demon Mo Kan, the Bone Demon Ge Meng, the Sand Demon You Qiu, the Shadow Demon Wu Hua, the Corpse Demon Zu Liao, the Red Demon Huo Bu! Each and every one represented the pinnacle of power in the Demon Realm. In particular, that Force Demon Huang Wuji—his murderous aura surged toward the heavens, making Mo Huang narrow her eyes involuntarily.

She had heard from Yang Kai that this fellow was the strongest in the Demon Realm, and seeing him now, the reputation was well deserved. Compared to the other Demon Saints, the pressure Huang Wuji exerted was indeed the greatest.

Huang Wuji's face was expressionless, his eyes sweeping left and right with the keen, predatory gaze of an eagle scanning for prey. Beside him, Xue Li bared his teeth in a savage grin, while the twin ghost-fires in Ge Meng's eye sockets flared violently. The moment Wu Hua appeared, his form blurred for an instant, and by the time he reappeared, he had already relocated to another spot. Before him, Can Ye gradually became visible, and Wu Hua channeled his Demon Origin to envelop him, pulling him back to their side.

Swish, swish, swish…

The sound of breaking air rang out as Chang Tian, Yu Rumeng, and Bei Li Mo charged in at an angle, coming to stand shoulder to shoulder with Mo Huang and the others.

Ripples passed through the air, and more figures materialized, arriving through the void. Four newcomers appeared—a dignified and beautiful woman, one who resembled ten-thousand-year-old unmelting ice, one whose aura was unfathomably bizarre, and a white-haired, white-bearded elder.

Hua Ying, Bing Yu, Tian Shu, and Miao Dan had all appeared as well.

Ten against ten—an even match in numbers. Each side represented the absolute zenith of power, the pinnacle of martial cultivation. Though they had not yet truly clashed, the silent collision of their auras already had the heavens and earth reeling, the four cardinal points on the verge of collapse.

The already enormous black hole suddenly expanded several times over, as though it intended to devour the entirety of heaven and earth. Centered on the Demon Saints and the Great Emperors, within a radius of ten thousand li, everyone felt as though a mountain had been pressed onto their chests, leaving them gasping for breath, panting without cease.

Huang Wuji's cold gaze swept across the Great Emperors, every inch of his expression dripping with disdain—lingering for only a single moment upon the Iron Blood Great Emperor. After all, Zhan Wuhen had charged into the Demon Realm earlier, clashed with all the Demon Saints, and withdrawn unscathed. Huang Wuji had recognized his formidable nature.

His gaze then shifted to Yu Rumeng and Bei Li Mo, and he let out a cold snort. "Traitors!"

Yu Rumeng ignored him completely. Bei Li Mo cried out in grievance: "Brother Huang, I was forced into this! I didn't want it to be this way either!"

Huang Wuji snorted coldly: "Come crawling back now, and I'll spare your life!"

Bei Li Mo's eyes lit up: "Truly?" Her words sounded tempted, but there was not a shred of trust in her eyes. After speaking, she let out a long, melancholy sigh. "But I'm currently under someone's control. If I go over there, I'd probably die a horrible death. Brother Huang, why don't you help me kill someone, and little sister will immediately abandon the darkness for the light?"

"Who?" Huang Wuji grunted.

"That brat Yang Kai," Bei Li Mo said without a shred of concealment. "That bastard planted a Soul Mark in my spiritual sea. I have no choice but to obey him!"

Huang Wuji's eyelids narrowed. "You expect anyone to believe that?"

"But that's exactly how it is!" Bei Li Mo blinked her pair of innocent, wide eyes.

"Get lost!" Huang Wuji roared in fury, pointing a finger at Bei Li Mo. "You harlot will be the first to die!"

Bei Li Mo's face went pale, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Even telling the truth and nobody believes me. Brother Huang, you're really forcing little sister down a dark path with no turning back." She turned to look at Yu Rumeng. "Why don't you put in a good word for me with Brother Huang, sister?"

"Save it!" Yu Rumeng couldn't be bothered with her. "What's with all the pointless talk?"

She wasn't the slightest bit worried that Bei Li Mo would actually return to the Demon Race's camp. Setting aside the fact that Bei Li Mo was currently under Yang Kai's control, her myriad prior actions had already made it impossible for her to hold any standing among the Demon Race.

Bei Li Mo wasn't a fool—how could she truly believe Huang Wuji's words? Even if she did go over, she would either be beaten to death or have countless restrictions placed on her, her cultivation sealed away.

A few brief exchanges, and it was clear they had nothing to say to each other.

Huang Wuji stopped paying attention to the traitors. He fixed his gaze upon the seven Great Emperors of the Star Boundary and bared his teeth in a savage smile: "Your reputations precede you. Huang Wuji has long been eager to make your acquaintance."
