He hadn't left yet.
"You know him?"
"How could I not? He's one of the Four Great Lord-Envoys of the Demon Heaven Path — quite famous." A smile curved
Lord Feng lay on the ground and actually put on an ingratiating expression for her. A mighty Pseudo-Emperor, reduced to such a state — truly pitiful.
There were bloodstains on
"I'm fine. There were some complications, but the outcome was good. He's all yours now. Being one of the Four Great Lord-Envoys, we should be able to extract quite a bit of useful intelligence from him."
The main reason he'd kept Lord Feng alive was to squeeze information about the Demon Heaven Path out of him. If they could follow the trail and locate the hiding places of the other three Lord-Envoys, that would be ideal.
The Demon Heaven Path was a cancer of the Star Realm. While their forces weren't as massive as the Demon Race army, they operated in the shadows, making them extremely difficult to track. Now that they'd caught this big fish — Lord Feng — it was only proper to make the most of him.
"And let the Great Emperor know too. To capture Lord Feng, I even used the divine ability encoded in the Legion Commander's seal. Tell him to compensate me for it."
"Don't take too long."

Everything around him was a psychedelic swirl — time and space twisted to infinity. No sound, no shadow, only brilliant, kaleidoscopic hues.
He didn't panic. For reasons he couldn't quite articulate, he simply knew he would arrive at his intended destination, so he quietly savored this utterly unique journey.
It didn't take long — perhaps only three or five breaths, the time it took him to blink once — when the brilliant colors around him suddenly faded. In the next moment,
He had indeed come home. Without needing to carefully orient himself,
Across the Star Domain, on each cultivation world, billions of beings raised their heads to gaze upward, eyes filled with astonishment, wondering why today's sun and moon seemed larger and rounder than usual.
From nearby came a series of thunderous booms, each one accompanied by blinding flashes of white light.
The two fleets each commanded roughly equal numbers of warships — one fleet painted red, the other black — and their strength was closely matched. It was unclear how long they'd been fighting, but both had taken considerable damage. Severely battered warships were pulled to the rear and hidden for emergency repairs, while the frontline vessels raised their defenses, dodging and counterattacking simultaneously.
The scene was truly a heated spectacle, but judging by the current state of affairs, it would likely end in mutual devastation, with neither side gaining the upper hand.
In an instant, heaven and earth seemed to spin. The cultivators aboard both fleets felt as though the universe had flipped upside down and the four poles had collapsed. By the time they regained their senses, there was no trace of the enemy before them — and their own fleets had been displaced hundreds of thousands of li from the original battlefield.
Everyone was shocked, not daring to linger a moment longer. They dragged their damaged warships and fled back to base...
For the cultivators of both fleets, today's encounter was utterly bizarre. But for
