"A minor world!" Zhu Qing was startled. Recalling her hazy impressions from before, she suddenly understood—that irresistible sense of peril had actually been caused by being swept into a minor world. She turned her head to look around and said, "So this is that minor world? It looks rather nice."
The Small Mystic Realm was alive with birdsong and fragrant flowers, its spiritual energy abundant. The environment truly was pleasant. Ever since the Five-Colored Treasure Pagoda had appeared, the Small Mystic Realm had undergone a fundamental transformation—it was now a self-contained world with complete laws of heaven and earth, a genuine blessed paradise.
"Heh."
Yang Kai chuckled and shook his head. "This isn't that minor world. It's a different one—one that belongs to me… Hmm?"
Halfway through his sentence, Yang Kai suddenly turned his head toward a certain direction, as though he had noticed something unusual.
"What's wrong?" Zhu Qing asked.
Yang Kai pondered for a moment. "Let me show you something interesting."
Even as he spoke, he suddenly reached out and grabbed toward a spot in the distance. Zhu Qing watched with wide, curious eyes, and then saw a pitch-black creature resembling a small puppy materialize out of thin air before them.
The little black dog had no sooner appeared than it let out several sharp barks, seemingly terrified. But judging by the vigorous way it wagged its tail and shook its body, the weakness it had displayed before was entirely gone.
"Where did this little spirit beast come from? It's so ugly." Zhu Qing stared at the small black dog, then shot Yang Kai a glance and teased, "Just like you."
Yang Kai slowly shook his head. "It's no ordinary spirit beast."
"What's so special about it?" Zhu Qing frowned.
"You're of the Dragon Race—take a closer look." Yang Kai lifted the little black dog in front of him as he spoke.
Upon hearing Yang Kai's voice, the little black dog seemed to calm down. Its pair of glossy black eyes locked onto him, panting with an ingratiating expression, drool trailing from its massive tongue. It looked utterly disgusting.
Zhu Qing finally noticed something unusual. "It seems to carry a very powerful bloodline, but it's not very pure."
The Dragon Race was bound by bloodlines and possessed deep expertise in their study. After

Zhu Qing shook her head with a blank expression.
"It was my first time hearing about it too," Yang Kai said, "but I've already witnessed its power." As he spoke, he shook the little black dog vigorously. "Kid, show us what you've got."
"Woof woof!"
"Don't play dumb. That move you pulled before—the one where your mouth splits wide open. Refuse me and I'll stew you and eat you."
"Woof woof!"
Zhu Qing placed a hand on her forehead. "Its spiritual intelligence hasn't fully awakened—it only has a rudimentary understanding of human intent. Talking to it like that won't do any good."
Yang Kai let out a cold chuckle. "Whether it understands or not, it knows deep down. But… fine, let's say it doesn't. Consider yourself lucky—you actually survived."
With that, he released his grip. The little black dog plopped to the ground, glanced at Yang Kai, then at Zhu Qing, and reluctantly padded over to Yang Kai's feet and lay down.
Zhu Qing covered her mouth and giggled. "It seems to really like you."
"What a little charmer!" Yang Kai nudged the little black dog with his foot, but the creature remained utterly unmoved.
Yang Kai paid it no further attention and looked up at Zhu Qing. "Let's head out first. We need to figure out exactly where we are, and whether we can still make it back to the
"It can't be that serious, can it? Aren't you an expert in the Laws of Space?" Zhu Qing thought Yang Kai was being somewhat dramatic. But she herself felt no sense of danger whatsoever—as long as she could be with this man, it didn't matter where they were.
Yang Kai smiled, and with a thought, carried Zhu Qing out of the Small Mystic Realm.
Back in the cave from before, Yang Kai looked at Zhu Qing with a grin. "Want me to carry you on my back? We don't know what kind of place this is. We need to find out if there's anyone around and gather some intelligence."
Zhu Qing's cheeks flushed slightly. "I'm not so weak that I need that."
With that, she took the lead toward the cave exit. Though her steps were light, she seemed to frown with every stride.
Yang Kai stifled his laughter, then suddenly darkened his expression. "You're so annoying."
Zhu Qing's delicate body trembled, her beautiful face draining of color in an instant. "You already find me annoying?"
Yang Kai quickly clarified, "I wasn't talking about you. I meant this guy."
As his words fell, a bark rang out. The little black dog had been tossed out of the Small Mystic Realm. Upon hitting the ground, it furiously barked at Yang Kai, clearly expressing its outrage at being left behind.
