"Chu Feng?" A familiar voice rang out at the same time.
"Second Immortal Executioner?" Chu Feng recognized the voice, and the gaze that came with it.
Before, when he had killed this Second Immortal Executioner's disciple, the man had stared at Chu Feng through the teleportation array with that very same look.
"You didn't show yourself when I killed your disciple."
"Now I'm killing your brothers, and you still won't show yourself?"
"Seems the bond between you brothers is nothing more than that. But then again, it's only natural — you're nothing but a pack of beasts. How could beasts ever have brotherhood?" Chu Feng said.
"Chu Feng, let the two of them go. There's no need for things to get this far between us."
"Especially since my brothers and I have already joined the Prison Sect. We're actually on the same side," the Second Immortal Executioner said.
"I will never be on the same side as you. I'll send these two beasts to hell first, then I'll come for you."
With that, Chu Feng swept his arm, and the heads of the Third and Fourth Immortal Executioners rolled to the ground.
With the Guardian Nightmare's power, the protective formation couldn't stop Chu Feng at all.
The reason he killed them so quickly was that Chu Feng knew he probably couldn't handle the Second Immortal Executioner in his current state.
If he dragged things out any longer, the Second Immortal Executioner might bring reinforcements to save them.
Delay only bred complications — better to kill two now while he could.
Naturally, Eggy didn't waste their Origins either, absorbing them directly into her body and refining them on the spot.
As for Chu Feng, he turned and walked toward Eggy, observing her up close.
No matter how many times he looked, he could never get enough of Eggy's face.
She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in this world, and that would never change.
But the excitement Chu Feng felt inside wasn't because of Eggy's beauty — it was because she was far too important.
"What are you looking at? Never seen me before?"
"Don't tell me you're trying to take advantage of your Queen again?"
"You're no match for me right now, you know. Believe it or not, I'll beat you up!" Eggy scowled and took a few steps back.
Seeing this, Chu Feng couldn't help but smile. "So you're really okay?"
"Well, not entirely. Those things are still quite violent. My body still has some issues."
"I'll need to go into seclusion and recuperate. That way there won't be any lingering worries."
"But this time you really don't need to worry. I'll be perfectly fine."
"Look at me now — aren't I jumping around like crazy?" Eggy held out her small hand and spun around.
"Of course I was worried, seeing you like that before," Chu Feng said.
"Alright, alright. It's not like I wanted it to happen."
"Anyway, I won't have any more problems from now on," Eggy said.
"How long will your seclusion take?" Chu Feng asked.
"Not sure. Just remember — I'll be fine. And stop tossing all sorts of random stuff at me!"
"I'm practically being killed by your overfeeding!!!" Eggy pouted, her little lips jutting out.
"Got it, got it. As long as you're okay, that's all that matters," Chu Feng said.
"Then I'm heading back to seclusion?" Eggy asked. Though her mouth told Chu Feng not to get any ideas, her eyes couldn't hide the reluctance to part.
"Go on. But come back quickly — I'm counting on you to fight by my side and have my back," Chu Feng said.
"No problem. Just wait." With that, Eggy stepped through the Spirit World Gate and returned to the Spirit World, settling down cross-legged.
Fortunately, even though Eggy had entered seclusion this time, her body hadn't reverted — and that put Chu Feng's mind at ease.
Before, Eggy's condition had been one of the heaviest burdens weighing on Chu Feng's heart.
Now that Eggy was fine, the biggest concern remaining was Little Fish.
So Chu Feng returned to the place where he had agreed to meet Song Yun.
It wasn't until the next day that Song Yun finally appeared.
"Brother Chu Feng, I've found out."
"The Immortal Sea Fish was really captured by our Prison Sect — and it's being held in the Azure Snow Upper Realm."
The moment Song Yun said those words, the knot in Chu Feng's chest loosened considerably.
At the very least, he now knew Little Fish's location. That was good news.
