"Oh my, interesting. You've got quite the temper for a brat — do you even know who I am?"
The voice from within the barrier spoke.
"I don't care who you are. If you want them to live, it's not impossible. Hand over what I need," Chu Feng said.
"What would that be?" the voice inside the barrier countered.
"Stop playing dumb. You may be physically trapped, but your consciousness can project outward. Everything that happened since we arrived here — you should have observed it all clearly," Chu Feng said.
"Not bad, you're a sharp one. Your judgment of barrier formations is quite keen — you must be a rare barrier prodigy," the figure said.
"Save the compliments. Let's get to the point," Chu Feng said.
"Hahahaha, very well, very well."
"You want the Dantian of that brat called Tan Yu returned, don't you?"
"That Dantian is indeed in my possession, and it's of no use to me whatsoever — so I can return it."
"However, I have one condition," the voice said.
"What condition?" Chu Feng asked.
"Go find someone for me. Bring that person here, and I'll return Tan Yu's Dantian."
With those words, a scroll flew out from within the barrier.
When Chu Feng opened the scroll, Zi Ling leaned in to take a look as well.
Upon closer inspection, both Chu Feng and Zi Ling were somewhat surprised.
The scroll contained a portrait of a person.
And that portrait was unmistakably Chu Feng himself.
"What business do you have with this person?" Chu Feng asked.
"That's none of your concern. You simply need to find this person and bring them here," the figure said.
"So you're saying — as long as I bring this person to this location, you'll return Tan Yu's Dantian?" Chu Feng asked back.
"That's right," the voice replied.
"And why should I trust you?" Chu Feng asked.
"I can break through this barrier on my own — it would just take some time."
"If I break it myself, you'll have no chance of getting Tan Yu's Dantian back," the figure said.
"In my opinion, you can't break it."
"It's not a problem with the barrier — it's a problem with you. You're bound by a restrictive formation, and it's that formation on your body that prevents you from leaving."
"If that weren't the case, the scroll was able to come out — so why can't you?" Chu Feng held up the scroll and said.
"Fine, you truly are a clever brat."
"Since we're both smart people, I won't beat around the bush."
"Tan Yu's Dantian is useless to me, and I couldn't care less whether he lives or dies."
"Go find this person named Chu Feng and bring him to me. I'll give you Tan Yu's Dantian. If you refuse this favor, I'll simply destroy the Dantian right here," the figure said.
"Easy for you to say — is Chu Feng really that easy to find?"
"Why don't you ask them yourself? Is that Chu Feng someone you can just walk up and grab?"
As he spoke, Chu Feng turned his gaze toward the people of the Sun Moon Sect.
"Chu Feng? Which Chu Feng?" The Sun Moon Sect members were momentarily confused.
"See for yourselves." Chu Feng tossed the scroll to them and lifted his foot off the Sun Moon Sect's ancestor's head.
At that moment, the Sun Moon Sect's ancestor, the Sect Master, and the Sect Master's grandson all picked up the scroll at the same time.
And the moment they looked, all three of their expressions changed drastically.
"Th-This… this… this… it's actually him?"
"My lord, you — you — what do you want with him?!"
All three of them panicked.
Tan Yu had always been cut off from the outside world. He would frequently lose consciousness from the excruciating pain. He had most likely never even witnessed the scene when the Heavenly rankings had blanketed the sky and Chu Feng's name was carved across the heavens — otherwise, he couldn't possibly know absolutely nothing about Chu Feng.
