Before long, an army of ten thousand Asura warriors descended through the skies in majestic formation.
Their auras were extraordinary, far surpassing those of the guards that had surrounded Chu Feng.
At the forefront rode a colossal beast formed from an Asura malevolent spirit, and upon its back sat their leader.
The presence he exuded was simply beyond compare.
The moment he appeared, every Asura malevolent spirit in the vicinity dropped to their knees and bowed deeply toward him.

The moment the Asura King spoke, the masses of Asura spirits immediately dispersed.
He remained seated atop the colossal beast, his gaze descending upon Yaoyao as he studied her over and over.
Finally, he seemed to confirm something.
The sharp eyes of his suddenly lit up with brilliance.
A smile even broke across that cold, stern face.
Then his figure flickered, and he vanished — only to reappear directly in front of Yaoyao.
"Mingyue, it really is you, Mingyue."
"My dear daughter, you've come back to find your father."
He scooped Yaoyao into his arms, displaying overwhelming affection.
But his words took Chu Feng by surprise.
Yaoyao was his daughter?
"What Mingyue? That sounds awful — call me Yaoyao!"
Yet Yaoyao looked disgusted. She shoved the Asura King away, leapt from his embrace, and hurried to Chu Feng's side, grabbing hold of his hand.
"Who are you?"
Seeing this, the Asura King turned his icy gaze toward Chu Feng.
BOOM— With just that one glance, Chu Feng felt as though his soul was about to shatter. His breathing became labored.
The pressure was something Chu Feng had never felt before.
It was as if that single look alone could claim his life.
This Asura King was powerful beyond imagination!!!
"You are not allowed to hurt him."
"He is my daddy. If you dare touch a single hair on him, I will kill myself right now, and you'll never be able to leave this place."
Yaoyao seemed to sense the crushing pressure Chu Feng was under, and she shook her tiny fists at the Asura King, shouting.
"Daddy?"
"Mingyue, what are you saying? I am your father."
After those words, the Asura King directed his furious gaze back at Chu Feng.
"It was you — you lured away my Mingyue. You deceived her."
The fury in the Asura King's eyes surged like flames — he had genuinely murderous intent.
"He never deceived me. I remember everything. I know you're my biological father, but you sacrificed me — you sacrificed my mother — for your so-called grand cause. I reject you."
"Right now, in my heart, he is the only father I have. He is Chu Feng."
"I'm telling you, if it weren't for him, I would never have come back to this wretched place."
Yaoyao said bitterly. Bringing up this matter clearly dredged up painful memories — Chu Feng noticed her eyes had turned red.
Tears were welling in those beautiful eyes.
Seeing this, Chu Feng pulled Yaoyao into his embrace.
He understood now. Yaoyao had always known where she came from. She had known her origins all along.
But those memories were too painful for her, so she never wanted to bring them up.

"You remember all of it?"
Hearing this, a look of shame surfaced on the Asura King's face.
And judging by his reaction, Chu Feng grew even more certain that the Asura King had indeed done terrible things to Yaoyao.
That was why she felt she was a sacrificial pawn, and why she likely had no desire to help the Asura spirits.
So when Chu Feng had taken her away, she was grateful to him — grateful enough to accept him as her father rather than acknowledge this Asura King.
If Chu Feng hadn't run into trouble, Yaoyao probably would never have wanted to return to this place.
"I'll say it one more time — my name is Yaoyao. What stupid Mingyue sounds awful. Don't ever call me that again — don't EVER call me that!!!"
Yaoyao roared. Though the voice was still childlike and tender, her fury was unmistakable.
"Fine, fine, fine. Yaoyao — is that your name now? Then your father will call you Yaoyao."
"Yaoyao, I know I haven't been a worthy father. Your mother, she…"
*Sigh…* "Yaoyao, you must understand — I did it for all of us, for the entire Asura Spirit Army. I hope you can appreciate your father's good intentions."
The Asura King said.
