"Chu Feng, that old beast is extremely vicious. He definitely isn't being generous out of the goodness of his heart. You need to be careful."
After a lengthy conversation, Wang Yuxian warned Chu Feng.
These past days, Wang Yuxian had been tormented by Lord Yunliang every single day.
Even though Lord Yunliang had let them go today, Wang Yuxian still did not trust him.
Truthfully, Chu Feng didn't trust Lord Yunliang either — but what could he do?
It was true that the Asura evil spirits in this place were not skilled in barrier techniques, but the Asura Burial Ground itself had been constructed using an extraordinarily powerful grand array.
This grand array was so potent that it even blocked the power of the teleportation array inside Chu Feng's body. Right now, he had absolutely no way to take Wang Yuxian and leave.
Lord Yunliang was elusive and unpredictable. Chu Feng couldn't even be sure whether the man was currently spying on him, so he didn't dare take Wang Yuxian back the way they had come.
All he could do was bite the bullet and follow Lord Yunliang's instructions.
Wang Yuxian's weakness was mainly due to her bloodline power having been drained excessively.
Chu Feng could only help stabilize her condition — he couldn't make a full recovery for her.
If she wanted to recover, it would take time. There wasn't much Chu Feng could do to help in that regard.
So, as instructed by Lord Yunliang, Chu Feng began setting up an array using the power contained within the bottle.
Although Lord Yunliang had said the evil spirits here didn't understand barrier techniques, Chu Feng knew that "didn't understand" really just meant they weren't skilled at it — not that they knew nothing at all.
Some Spirit World beings, if they had once followed a powerful Spirit World Master, would come to know quite a bit about barrier techniques, even if they couldn't deploy them themselves.
For example, Her Majesty — many of the barrier techniques Chu Feng had learned had been taught to him by Her Majesty, including the Celestial Eye, which remained his most powerful observation method to this day.
Moreover, this entire place had been built using formidable barrier arrays.
Chu Feng couldn't be certain whether some of the more powerful Asura evil spirits might carry treasures capable of detecting barrier techniques.
To be safe, he had to be cautious. As a result, the fusion array he laid out was crafted with extreme care.
After spending several hours, Chu Feng finally completed an array he was satisfied with, and successfully merged it with the power inside the bottle.
To guard against any unforeseen events, he even set up a miniature world for Wang Yuxian to enter and recover in, then condensed that miniature world into a pearl and kept it on his person.
As for Lord Yunliang, he remained absent for a long time. He didn't appear until the following morning, materializing without warning.
"Is the fusion complete?"
The moment Lord Yunliang entered, he got straight to the point.
"My Lord, it is done."
Chu Feng replied.
"Follow me."
"Remember — just stay behind me. Do not speak."
Lord Yunliang didn't see Wang Yuxian, but he didn't ask about her either. After giving those instructions, he took the bottle and left the chamber.
Chu Feng followed behind him until they arrived before a breathtakingly massive structure.
The building was enormous — tens of thousands of meters tall, a monument that seemed to reach the heavens.
It was entirely black in color, its design overwhelmingly imposing, resembling a colossal longsword thrust up from the earth, piercing through the clouds and into the void.
The entrance gate alone stood ten thousand meters high, and above it hung an enormous plaque inscribed with four characters: Asura King's Hall.
Normally, a structure of such grandeur and meticulous craftsmanship would inspire a sense of reverence and sanctity. But the Asura King's Hall inspired only a feeling of crushing oppression.
From a distance, it was manageable. The closer one got, the more acutely one felt their own insignificance.
It wasn't merely a difference in size — there was a gap in power as well.
Chu Feng had fought countless demon beasts, including titans tens of thousands of meters tall, and he could destroy them with ease.
Yet the Asura King's Hall before him made him feel utterly tiny. It was merely a building, yet it seemed like an invincible beast that Chu Feng could never hope to overcome.
That oppressive force bore down on him like a physical weight.
