"You know them?" Chu Feng asked.
"Oh ho, so you really don't recognize them?" Li Xiang said.
"Who are they?" Chu Feng asked.
"Doesn't the banner say it right there? Han Yu," Li Xiang said.
"And who is Han Yu?" Chu Feng asked.
"Damn, brother — don't tell me you really don't know who Han Yu is?" A man standing behind Li Xiang stared at Chu Feng in genuine disbelief.
"Since when is this guy your brother?" Li Xiang shot the man a vicious glare, then turned back to Chu Feng. "Where are you from? You don't look like you're from the Great Thousand Upper Realm — otherwise there's no way you wouldn't have heard of Han Yu."
"I wasn't raised in the Great Thousand Upper Realm. I've only recently arrived, so I'm really not very familiar with the people or affairs here," Chu Feng said.
"If that's the case, then today I'll be generous and give you the rundown on just who those three are."
"The long-faced one is Yuwen Tingyi — the Young City Lord of Yuwen City."
"The dark-faced one is Yuwen Hualong — the number one genius of Yuwen City."
"Yuwen City isn't exactly some great power in the Great Thousand Upper Realm, but Yuwen Tingyi and Yuwen Hualong are both famous geniuses in the Upper Realm."
"And their cultivation levels — I'm sure you sensed them just now. They're both very strong."
Li Xiang looked at Chu Feng as he spoke, his expression animated and smug, carrying a hint of provocation — as though he were telling Chu Feng that, compared to those two, he was nothing more than an ant.
"I want to know who that Han Yu is," Chu Feng said.
"Now that Han Yu is something else entirely."
"And if we're going to talk about Han Yu, we have to start with the triennial grand event of the Great Thousand Upper Realm — the Prodigy Martial Tournament."
"The Prodigy Martial Tournament is a competition for the younger generation of the Great Thousand Upper Realm, open to those under a hundred years of age. It's the most anticipated event in the entire Upper Realm."
"Because practically every younger generation member under a hundred with any real strength in the Great Thousand Upper Realm participates."
"They spar and compete, and those who rank at the top are likely to become major figures in the Upper Realm's future."
"Because of that, the top ten ranked fighters in the Prodigy Martial Tournament are hailed as monsters — hence the common name, the Monster Rankings."
"Anyone who carves their name onto the Monster Rankings is recognized as one of the ten strongest geniuses in the Great Thousand Upper Realm. They receive the admiration of countless juniors, and every major power must treat them with the utmost respect."
"And that Han Yu is the tenth-ranked existence on the Monster Rankings," Li Xiang said.
"What background does this Han Yu have?" Chu Feng asked.
"On the path of martial cultivation, talent is important, but so is the backing that nurtures you. A force capable of producing a genius like Han Yu naturally isn't simple. The power behind Han Yu is the City of the Sword King."
"The City of the Sword King is a force on par with our Sacred Pill Mountain Villa — so like I said, Han Yu is not someone you can afford to offend."
"Of course, if we're talking about background, Han Yu is actually the weakest among the ten on the Monster Rankings," Li Xiang said.
"Then can you tell me who the other nine on the Monster Rankings are, and where they come from?" Chu Feng asked.
