And so, Xu Yiyi, Chu Feng, and the others headed together toward the barrier entrance.
Along the way, people were chatting and laughing, which eased Xu Yiyi's anger considerably. A sweet smile returned to her small face.
But as they drew closer, Xu Yiyi's expression changed again — and not just hers. Many of the people around them wore similar looks.
That Jiang Hao had clearly arrived long ago, yet he hadn't stepped through the barrier gate first. Instead, he stood there waiting for Xu Yiyi and Chu Feng's group.

"So, Jiang Hao — that was your genuine skill?" Though Jiang Hao had gone silent, Xu Yiyi pressed on with her mockery.
"Yiyi, fine, I couldn't get in. But if even I couldn't get in, there's no way Chu Feng can either," Jiang Hao retorted.
"And what if Chu Feng does get in?" Xu Yiyi asked.
"If he gets in, I'll publicly apologize to him and acknowledge him as my big brother," Jiang Hao said.
"Don't be ridiculous. You're decades older than Chu Feng — what gives you the right to pretend to be the younger one and call him big brother?" Xu Yiyi scoffed disdainfully.
"Th-then I'll publicly apologize and admit that I, Jiang Hao, am inferior to him," Jiang Hao said.
