"Master, please have a seat." The old man's voice rang out once more, but he still did not appear.
"Senior, why not show yourself and speak?" Chu Feng cupped his fists as he spoke.
"Master, it has only been a few years, and you no longer recognize my voice?"
Suddenly, the figure of an elderly man materialized beside Chu Feng, standing right at his side.
"Senior, it's you?" Upon seeing this person, Chu Feng's face lit up with joy.
He recognized this old man — he was the blind elder Chu Feng had encountered back in the Eastern Sea.
"Master, there is no need to keep calling me 'Senior.' In truth, I am your servant." The blind elder actually bowed respectfully to Chu Feng as he said this.
Though the blind elder was indeed without sight, his spiritual perception seemed extraordinarily keen — he could perceive everything through it.
"Senior, what exactly is going on here?" Chu Feng asked.
"Do not call me Senior anymore. It will shorten this old servant's life. If you don't mind, just call me Blind Servant," the blind elder said.
"You have shown me tremendous kindness, Senior. How could I call you a servant? If you have no objections, then I will call you Uncle Blind," Chu Feng said.
In truth, given the gap in their ages, Chu Feng should have addressed him as Grandpa Blind. But he felt that title would be too senior — the old man might not dare accept it. Uncle was just the right fit.
"If Master insists, then this old servant is content to be called that," the blind elder said.
"Uncle Blind, what exactly is happening? Where is Zi Ling right now?" Chu Feng pressed.
He knew that Zi Ling had been taken away by the blind elder quite some time ago, and he had been worried about her safety ever since.
"Master, please sit. I will explain everything to you in due course," the blind elder said.
At this, Chu Feng did not stand on ceremony. He sat down nearby, realizing that unless he did so, the blind elder would likely never tell him the full story.
Things seemed different now. Chu Feng truly appeared to be their master. Everyone within this Divine Domain — regardless of their cultivation, regardless of how much stronger they were than Chu Feng — none dared show him the slightest disrespect.
"Let me start with what everyone calls the Divine Domain. This place is the former site of the Chu Heavenly Clan."
"The Chu Heavenly Clan was the most powerful clan on the Martial Holy Land after ancient times. In that era, no one dared defy them — they truly commanded all under heaven."
"The Ancient Elves, who now proudly crown themselves rulers, once had to bow respectfully to Master's clan, presenting countless tributes each year."
"As for anything that appeared after the ancient era — before Master's clan, they were nothing more than ants," the blind elder said.
"My clan?" At these words, Chu Feng's heart stirred again. He had actually suspected this for some time — that the Divine Domain, with its peculiar resonance, might be the ruins of his family's former seat. But he had never been certain.
After all, when he had met that old ape within the Heavenly Path, the old ape had told him that his clan originated from this very world. But the ape had never said whether the clan's remains still existed, only that... the people of this world had long since forgotten his clan.
"Uncle Blind, are any of my clansmen still here?"
"Why did they enter the Beyond in the first place?"
"Do you have any news of them now?" Chu Feng asked eagerly.
"There is no need for alarm, Master. Let this old servant explain slowly," the blind elder said. "All the current members of the Chu Heavenly Clan are in the Beyond. This old servant's status is too low — I have no news of them."
