If even the Ice and Snow Phoenix did not understand the Clan Chief's intentions, then the Elven King and his forces were all the more bewildered.
"Everyone, young friend Chu Feng is waiting for you back in our territory. I hereby invite you, in my capacity as Clan Chief of the Ice and Snow Phoenix, to be honored guests among our people," the Ice and Snow Clan Chief said to the Elven King.

Hearing these words, every single member of the Ancient Elves' allied army was utterly stunned.
What was going on? Moments ago they had been on the verge of a fight to the death, swords drawn and arrows nocked — and now they were being invited to the clan as guests?

And so, the Elven King led the Ancient Elves' army forward into the territory of the Ice and Snow Phoenix.

"What is the meaning of this?! The Hall Master sent you here to stop them — how could you just let them through?!" Upon witnessing this scene, the Dark Hall members could no longer sit still.
"Ice and Snow Phoenix, heed my command!" At that moment, the Ice and Snow Clan Chief let out a thunderous shout, then cast his frigid gaze upon the Dark Hall members and ordered: "Slaughter every last one of the Dark Hall. No exceptions."
