"Elder, Chu Feng tried to seize Lord Dragon King's inheritance. In order to do so, he killed Princess Tingyu, and he killed several of our seniors as well. It was only because the seniors fought to the death to protect me that I managed to escape," Yaojiao Xueran said.
"What nonsense are you spouting? Chu Feng is merely a seventh-grade half-emperor — how could he possibly kill them?" Forget about everyone else, even the War Faction Elder didn't believe it. Setting aside how many first-grade Martial Emperors had accompanied the expedition, there had even been a second-grade Martial Emperor among them.

With Xueran dead, there'd be no one to challenge your and your faction's claim to the chieftain seat. You're despicable beyond measure, Yaojiao Guang." Yaojiao Ba began slinging accusations at Yaojiao Guang without restraint.
After hearing this, the Yaojiao Royal Beasts' gazes toward Yaojiao Guang shifted as well. They all knew that Yaojiao Guang had no intention of relinquishing the chieftain seat, and Chu Feng had indeed been his guest. "Elders, please reconsider!" Yaojiao Guang stopped arguing with Yaojiao Ba and turned his gaze to the elders.
