"Young Master, are you talking about Miss Song Yun?" the prison general asked.
"That's a redundant question. Could I, Chen Hui, have any other little sister besides little sister Yun?" Chen Hui grinned broadly, looking somewhat displeased.
"That Chu Feng — he's Miss Song Yun's sweetheart?"
"How come I've never heard of this?" the prison general asked again, his tone completely changed — the previous authority gone, replaced by a gossipy curiosity that was downright nosy.
"Of course you wouldn't know. How could you people know about something like that?"
"Since you don't know, there's no need to ask. Just keep pretending you know nothing." Chen Hui said.
"Understood, Young Master. But, Young Master — so you came here not for this Palace Entry Trial, but to find this Chu Feng?" the prison general asked again.
"No, I told you, I just wanted to join in the excitement. After all, I'm a barrier genius too — how could a grand event like this be without Chen Hui's presence?"
"But I didn't expect that I'd run into that Chu Feng right here. Maybe it's the will of heaven." Chen Hui said.
"Then how did Young Master know that Miss Song Yun's sweetheart was this Chu Feng?"
"Did Miss Song Yun tell you?" the prison general asked again.
"No. Uncle Qing, you're a Demonic Character Prison General, for crying out loud — why are you so nosy? Curious about everything??" Chen Hui asked.
"Heh heh, Young Master Chen Hui, who is Miss Song Yun? She's the only person in our Prison Sect who currently has a chance of surpassing you, Young Master. Naturally, I'd be concerned about anything related to her." The prison general said with a sheepish grin.
"Anyway, I know this Chu Feng is little sister Yun's sweetheart, and I'm absolutely certain of it." Chen Hui said.
"This Chu Feng — he's the one who's on good terms with the young master of the Totem Dragon Clan, right?" The prison general swept his sleeve and produced a scroll. Painted on it was none other than Chu Feng.
"It really is him." the prison general said.
Chen Hui said nothing. He had clearly known all along.
"This Chu Feng is talked about like some sort of legend, but from what I just observed, the gap between him and Young Master is considerable."
"So, Young Master, what do you think of this Chu Feng's strength?"
"This Chu Feng has some talent. What he'll become in the future, I can't say."
"But as for right now — this Chu Feng is worthy of being little sister Yun's sweetheart, and he's worthy of being my, Chen Hui's, opponent." Chen Hui said.
"Oh? To receive such a high evaluation from Young Master — it seems the rumors are true. This Chu Feng really is the real deal." The prison general had clearly developed an interest in Chu Feng as well.
"Let's go." As he spoke, Chen Hui soared into the air, but not in the direction of the Palace Entry Trial.
"Young Master, you're not continuing with the Palace Entry Trial?" the prison general asked, surprised. After all, he knew Chen Hui had come here specifically for the trial.
"I just wanted to join in the excitement, nothing more."
"You think I'd actually join the Seven Realms Holy Palace? What if they discovered my identity — would I still be alive?" Chen Hui said.
"But, Young Master Chen Hui, hasn't your soul been infused with an ancient supreme treasure that can hide your cultivation and bloodline completely?" the prison general asked.
"I do have confidence in this treasure. But the Seven Realms Holy Palace is no pushover either."
"The Palace Entry Trial hasn't officially started yet, and the presiding elders before this were only at Divine Robe Peak at best. The formation's power was extremely limited."
"Later on, who knows what kind of supreme treasure they'll use to power the formation. It's better to be careful." Chen Hui said.
"Then, Young Master — where are we going now?" the prison general asked.
"To the Star Universe Sect." Chen Hui said.
