Whoosh— Suddenly, the members of the Totem Phoenix Clan went tumbling out, thrown back violently from the formation.
They had been forcibly expelled by the eye of the formation.
Yet Chu Feng, who remained inside the formation’s core, was completely unharmed.
In the next instant, violent red lightning erupted throughout the entire formation array. The process was now complete.
Chu Feng had succeeded. Though it was expected, the sight was still shocking.
“Chu Feng, are you even human? That was incredible!”
“Haha, let’s see how those Blood-Eyed Qilin Clan people keep acting so smug now!”
Before Chu Feng had even stepped out, Long Zhizhi rushed to the formation’s eye, her body trembling with excitement. But she wasn’t the only one; every member of the Totem Dragon Clan was thrilled. With Chu Feng on their side, they were certain no one could complete this mission more brilliantly than they would.
“Go ahead and enter to cultivate now,” Chu Feng said as he emerged from the formation.
“Not just yet. We still need to seize the other formations, and that requires our Totem Dragon Clan members as well,” Long Zhizhi replied.
“You’re right,” Chu Feng agreed, nodding.
“You all go in first,” Long Yuhong instructed a portion of the Totem Dragon Clan members.
“Chu Feng, thank you,” those Totem Dragon Clan cultivators said, bowing to Chu Feng in gratitude before entering the eye of the formation.
Not long after they had entered, the distant pillar of light began to change. A phantom image of a qilin appeared within it—another formation had been seized by the Blood-Eyed Qilin Clan.
However, shortly after, a dragon phantom manifested in another distant pillar of light as it was captured by the Totem Dragon Clan.
The Blood-Eyed Qilin Clan certainly had their methods; they had already seized three formations and remained in the lead, even widening their gap with the Totem Phoenix Clan. Yet Long Zhizhi and Long Yuhong showed no signs of panic.
On the surface, it looked like three formations belonged to the Blood-Eyed Qilin Clan, one to the Totem Phoenix Clan, and two to the Totem Dragon Clan. But in reality, four formations were already under the Totem Dragon Clan’s control—two of which Chu Feng had helped them secure.
And given Chu Feng’s speed in seizing the formations, they were confident the Totem Dragon Clan would finish the fastest.
“Chu Feng, so you were the one behind this.”
Suddenly, an angry shout came from behind—it was Feng Tiansheng.
He wasn’t alone. Feng Jiuyue and the Totem Phoenix Clan members Chu Feng had encountered earlier had all arrived, along with the group from the first formation.
“What, you want to fight?” Seeing the aggressive crowd, Long Yuhong and Long Zhizhi stepped in front of Chu Feng simultaneously.
“Even if we do, could you stop us?” Feng Tiansheng scoffed.
“You agreed with Young Master Chengyu that this would be a contest of skill for the formations, with no fighting allowed,” Long Yuhong reminded him. “If you break that agreement, Young Master Chengyu will never let you off.”
“You really think I’m afraid of that Long Chengyu? Get out of the way!!!” Feng Tiansheng snorted dismissively. Even as he spoke, he moved forward, ready to shove Long Yuhong and Long Zhizhi aside and strike at Chu Feng.
But just then, a figure stepped in front of Feng Tiansheng—it was Feng Jiuyue. After blocking Feng Tiansheng, she looked at Chu Feng and asked, “Chu Feng, did you take that medicinal pill?”
“I appreciate the thought, but I have no use for it.” As he spoke, Chu Feng tossed the box containing the pill back to Feng Jiuyue.
“That wasn’t what I meant.” Feng Jiuyue smiled and threw the box back to Chu Feng. “Chu Feng, would you be willing to cooperate with my Totem Phoenix Clan?”
“Name your price. Even if I can’t give it to you now, I will certainly provide it once we leave this place,” Feng Jiuyue said.
