The Spirit Realm spirit looked Egg Egg and Xueji up and down.
She instinctively assumed that the relationship between Egg Egg and Xueji was similar to hers with Dragon Nine Daoist's realm spirit.
They might not share the same Spirit World Master, but their respective masters were allies, so they could team up.
She thought this way because she knew that each Spirit World Master could only have one realm spirit enter this place.
Don't be fooled by all those realm spirits that had followed her — aside from Dragon Nine Daoist's Demon Spirit Realm spirit, she didn't actually know any of those realm spirits.
She had simply conquered those realm spirits while passing through the trial.
"This girl?"
"She and I are not companions."
Xueji immediately denied any relationship with Egg Egg, her expression cold.
"Oh? But it looks to me like this little girl is planning to help you."
"I don't need her help."
As she spoke, Xueji launched another attack. For reasons unknown, her fighting strength had increased once more.
"Heh..."
But upon seeing Xueji's assault, the Spirit Realm spirit showed a look of contempt.

Her whip lashed out again, and with each strike came a piercing boom that shook the entire grand hall to its foundations.
These were no empty displays of power — each crack of the whip transformed into a visible wave of sound that hurtled toward Xueji as a genuine offensive technique.
Xueji had intended to strike at the Spirit Realm spirit, but before she could even get close, she was forced back by the onslaught.
The sound waves followed one after another, detonating upon approach to widen their area of effect.
In the face of this, Xueji could do nothing but keep dodging.
But the attacks were far too fierce. Though Xueji managed to evade each one, she was clearly struggling.
"Hey, stop being so stubborn."
"Beg this queen, and this queen might mercifully take care of her for you."
Egg Egg stood off to the side like a spectator, shouting at Xueji while laughing all the while.
Her smile was mischievous — it seemed like she was enjoying watching Xueji suffer, yet it was undeniably sweet.
Can't be helped — the girl was simply too beautiful. No matter her mood, any smile from her was captivating.
As for Xueji, she said nothing and simply gritted her teeth through it.

Suddenly, a sound wave anticipated Xueji's escape path and landed directly in front of her.
Although Xueji dodged in time, the wave still detonated nearby. Though it didn't hit her directly, the shockwave caught her in the aftermath.
Had an ordinary person been struck, they would have either died or lost consciousness.
But Xueji was impressive — not only did she avoid crashing into a wall, she managed to adjust her posture and land steadily.
The force was simply too great, however. When she landed, the remaining momentum sent her skidding across the ground, leaving spots of blood in her wake.
Xueji had sustained serious injuries, and blood was flowing freely.
"Hey, still holding out?"
"I didn't take you for someone this stubborn."
"Don't you even know the saying — a great man bends and stretches?"
Egg Egg continued.
"Well, I'm no great man."
