Though Holy Light Whitebrow hadn't shown himself, he had been lurking in the shadows the entire time through Daoist Niantian's methods. He and Daoist Niantian had witnessed everything that just transpired.
"I don't think so. Judging from Situ Zhonglan's reaction, those life talismans must have only just started having problems. Otherwise, she wouldn't have left in such a hurry."
Daoist Niantian offered his own speculation.
"Young Hero Chu Feng, what do you think?"
Holy Light Whitebrow asked Chu Feng.
"The timing doesn't line up — it probably has nothing to do with me. As for what exactly happened to the people from the Situ Spirit World Gate, only Situ Zhonglan would know."
"But since the life talismans are still functional, the distance shouldn't be too far, right?" Chu Feng asked.
"A force like the Situ Spirit World Gate is certainly capable of crafting extremely powerful life talismans, but they can't exceed the range of the Heavenly River."
"Most likely, it's the people who came with her to the Nine Soul Heavenly River."
Daoist Niantian analyzed.
"Then perhaps it's the same group the Zhuge family ran into."

Song Yun naturally didn't believe a word of his nonsense.
After speaking, she turned to Song Xue'er, signaling for her to teach the man surnamed Qiu a lesson.

However, Song Xue'er didn't make a move. Her hesitation was understandable — after all, these people had been invited by Granny Wish God and Fairy Daohai.
Hearing Song Xue'er's words, Song Yun also wavered.

The first was that he had stumbled here by accident and hadn't been invited by Fairy Daohai. He had lied earlier because he noticed the man surnamed Qiu was looking for trouble, and wanted to avoid a confrontation.
The second was that he had urgent matters to attend to and would need to leave.
Song Yun, Song Xue'er, and Song Feifei all understood the first matter perfectly, and not a single one blamed Chu Feng for it.
As for the second matter, Song Feifei didn't have much of a reaction.
