Chu Feng smiled meaningfully, then turned and left.
In reality, Chu Feng had not actually left the palanquin — he had merely departed the formation.
However, in Shengguang Yunyue and Shengguang Haifu's eyes, Chu Feng had not only left the palanquin, but had walked a considerable distance before stopping.
Once they felt Chu Feng had gone far enough, they began to examine their surroundings inside the palanquin.

With one hand forming a seal, the bead released an invisible aura that sealed off the palanquin.

"Lady Yunyue, we can speak now. That Chu Feng won't be able to hear us," Shengguang Haifu said to Shengguang Yunyue.
When Chu Feng had been cultivating earlier, he had locked the two of them together, so they had already had private conversations.

"But this matter absolutely cannot be known to anyone else," Shengguang Yunyue said.

"But Lady Yunyue, this Chu Feng claims he wants to go to our clan for reconciliation. Do you think he's sincere?"
"Could he be scheming something?"
Shengguang Haifu said, his voice tinged with suspicion.
