"I'll kill you. I will definitely kill you." Chu Feng snarled through gritted teeth, his voice so terrifying that the grinding of his fangs was audible. His eyes were visibly changing—within those pupils intertwined with two bolts of lightning, a barely perceptible black mist was seeping out.
That black mist was gradually consuming Chu Feng's eyes, bit by bit. It was killing intent—an extraordinarily intense killing intent. Chu Feng's killing intent had never been this terrifying before.
But the ancestor of Sword God Valley acted as though he couldn't sense it at all, the grin on his face growing wider and wider. With a flick of his arm, he thrust the light blade toward Ziling's delicate cheek.

But at that very moment, a violent aura suddenly erupted from within Chu Feng's body. The force was so immense that even the ancestor of Sword God Valley and the Valley Master couldn't withstand it. With a scream, they were blasted thousands of meters away.

Those black eyes were utterly terrifying—like those of a savage beast, glinting with horrifying killing intent. They were no longer human eyes. They looked more like the eyes of a demon, some manner of demon.
And as Chu Feng's eyes transformed, two bolts of lightning also began swirling around him.
One was blue lightning, the other golden lightning. The two intertwined, crackling and hissing continuously, producing two different kinds of sparks. It looked simple enough, yet it radiated an aura of terrifying power—as though those two bolts of lightning weren't lightning at all, but a pair of fearsome primordial beasts carrying the power to annihilate heaven and earth.

At that instant, a deafening rumble suddenly echoed across the sky, and immediately after, massive black clouds surged into being.
The dark clouds appeared out of nowhere, churning and rolling, covering the entirety of Sword God Valley in the blink of an eye. They continued to spread, shrouding heaven and earth in darkness.
"Heavens—what is going on? What just happened?"
It had been a clear day, the sun sinking westward in a bright sky, but because of the sudden emergence of the black clouds, the entire world was plunged into darkness so thick that one couldn't see a hand in front of their face—everything was swallowed by shadow.
The only things still visible were the two bolts of lightning interweaving overhead, shrieking and crackling. And under the illumination of that lightning, people could see that Chu Feng's expression had become utterly hideous.
He no longer looked human. Nor did he look like a demon beast. It was impossible to describe—but it was terrifying, the kind of sight that made one's blood run cold and sweat pour down their spine after a single glance.
