Just as Chu Feng thought he was certainly doomed, a beam of light suddenly descended from the sky, smashing fiercely onto the demon beast.
The object was incredibly fast and struck with tremendous force. As it hit the beast, the creature's body immediately sank downwards. Not only did it halt its attack on Chu Feng, but it was driven deep into the ground. Gushing out large mouthfuls of blood, it actually perished on the spot, its breath ceasing.
This sudden turn of events startled Chu Feng. He looked up to observe, and was further stunned.
He discovered with astonishment that the thing which had crushed a Heaven Martial realm demon beast to death wasn't some unknown object, but a withered, wizened little old man.
This old man was less than a meter and a half tall, thin and shriveled, as if a strong gust of wind could carry him away.
But despite his unremarkable appearance, those eyes were exceptionally sharp and spirited. More importantly, Chu Feng found himself unable to see through the old man's cultivation, just like the Master of the Supreme Mountain Villa—incomprehensibly deep.
