"You were able to comprehend it? Then why can't I? Are you trying to say you're better than me?"
"Hmph, in my opinion, you're just trying to protect this brat, so you're deceiving even yourself." Song Boqiu scoffed dismissively, still insisting that he could not comprehend the power within that treasure.
"Song Boqiu, what exactly are you trying to do?" Just then, Liangqiu Chengfeng spoke up. Though he was extremely weak, his eyes cut toward Song Boqiu like twin blades.
"He wants back the cultivation resources he gave me earlier," Chu Feng said, before Song Boqiu could even open his mouth.
When Chu Feng spoke, everyone's expression shifted, their hearts filling with shock.
Not because of what he said — but because of the look on his face.
Liangqiu Chengfeng was gravely injured. Song Boqiu was now the most powerful person here, and he was about to make things difficult for Chu Feng. Even Liangqiu Chengfeng couldn't protect him now.
Chu Feng was absolutely in mortal danger. No one could help him.
In normal circumstances, even if a person wasn't trembling in fear and wetting themselves, they would at the very least be at a loss, their face a mask of panic.
But Chu Feng — there wasn't a trace of panic on his face. Quite the opposite… he looked as though he faced no threat whatsoever, his expression perfectly composed.
Could it be that this young man truly had such audacious courage? That his will was so powerful he could remain unshaken even in the face of mortal peril?

A burst of wild laughter suddenly rang out — Song Boqiu.
He threw his head back and roared with laughter, utterly rampant, radiating a sense of supreme arrogance that looked down upon the entire world.
Then, abruptly cutting off his laughter, he fixed his gaze upon Chu Feng. "Since you already know what I'm thinking, why bother asking?"
"This old man has no desire to bully a junior, so don't force my hand. Hand it over yourself."
"No desire to bully a junior? Then Song Boqiu, what exactly are you doing right now?" The Clan Master of the Chu Heavenly Clan dragged his weakened body forward and planted himself in front of Chu Feng.
Even in his current frail state, he could not let Chu Feng face this alone.
Even knowing it was like a mantis trying to stop a chariot, he still had to stand between Chu Feng and danger.
"You can't stop me." Song Boqiu glanced at the Chu Heavenly Clan Master and let out a contemptuous laugh, dismissing him entirely.
"Song Boqiu, I advise you to think twice before you act. If you truly harm the Chu Heavenly Clan Master and young friend Chu Feng today, I will never let you go," Liangqiu Chengfeng warned.
"Liangqiu Chengfeng, sir — if you were uninjured, I naturally wouldn't dare. But what can you do to me in your current state?"
"I, Song Boqiu, considered the possibility that you would seek revenge before deciding to do this. And the fact that I dare to do it proves one thing — I am not afraid of you."
A sinister smile crept across Song Boqiu's face at this point. Then, a threatening look surfaced in his eyes as he said to Liangqiu Chengfeng, "Right now, you can barely even protect yourself. So don't be rude to me — or I might just do something *really* disrespectful to you, my dear Liangqiu Chengfeng."
"How dare you threaten my Senior Brother?"
"If you've got the guts, try touching my Senior Brother and see what happens! My Master will never let you off!" Liangqiu Hongyue pointed at Song Boqiu and shouted furiously.
"Hmph — there is nothing under heaven that I, Song Boqiu, wouldn't dare do. Little girl, you think that just because your Master's cultivation is above mine, I wouldn't dare? Then why don't you take a look at Li Taiyi?"
"Do you think the Clan Master of the Li Heavenly Clan doesn't have cultivation above mine, either?" Song Boqiu pointed at Li Taiyi as he spoke.
