"Chu Feng — isn't that Chu Feng?"
When the crowd caught sight of Chu Feng, everyone was stunned. After all, Chu Feng had long since become someone well-known throughout the Great Upper Realm.
But Chu Feng was supposed to be dead. How could he have entered the Upper Realm Gate? And how could he have defeated the juniors of the Li Heavenly Clan?
Setting aside the matter of his death — even if he were alive, he shouldn't have been capable of something like that. In everyone's understanding, while Chu Feng's strength was formidable, it couldn't possibly surpass that of Chu Zhiyuan.
The shocked reaction of the Great Upper Realm crowd left the members of the Li Heavenly Clan somewhat taken aback as well. It was Li Youbin who recovered first, whispering, "Chu Feng — that name sounds familiar."
"Doesn't Chu Xuanyuan have a son called Chu Feng?"
"That's right, Chu Xuanyuan does indeed have a son named Chu Feng. But isn't there a rumor that his son was imprisoned alongside him in the Chu Heavenly Clan's forbidden grounds, and that he long ago perished from being unable to withstand the power within?"
"Yeah, I've heard that too — Chu Xuanyuan's son died long ago. And even if he really were Chu Xuanyuan's son, wasn't he a worthless cripple who couldn't cultivate martial arts? How could he possibly defeat us?"
At that moment, the juniors of the Li Heavenly Clan couldn't help but buzz with discussion.
Because Chu Xuanyuan was someone far too extraordinary, his son had been an object of interest for the entire Ancestral Martial Starfield.
After a round of chatter, it was Li Yan — the strongest among them — who stepped forward, pointing at the image of Chu Feng as he addressed Chu Hanpeng: "Senior, is this man Chu Xuanyuan's son?"
"He is indeed Chu Xuanyuan's son," Chu Hanpeng confirmed.
"He really is Chu Xuanyuan's son?"
Upon hearing this, the Li Heavenly Clan juniors grew even more surprised. After all, they had long heard tales about Chu Xuanyuan's son.
And as far as they knew, Chu Feng had not only died long ago — even if he hadn't, he was nothing more than a worthless cripple unable to cultivate.
If the person who had defeated them was truly Chu Xuanyuan's son, that would be quite extraordinary.
It would at least prove that Chu Xuanyuan's son was no ordinary person.
"But you claim he was the one who injured you? I'm afraid that's highly unlikely," Chu Hanpeng said.
"Unlikely? Why would it be unlikely? He was the one who made things difficult for us inside the Upper Realm Gate that day — we saw it with our own eyes. Do you think we could have mistaken him?" Li Tianyou retorted.
"Because Chu Feng is already dead," Chu Hanpeng replied.
"Senior, my brothers can confirm that the person who injured them inside the Upper Realm Gate that day was none other than this Chu Feng."
"This is a proven fact. And now you're using the excuse that Chu Feng is dead to shield him — do you take us for fools?"
"Senior, do you really think we're that stupid?" Li Yan demanded.
He simply refused to believe that Chu Feng was dead, so when Chu Hanpeng said as much, he could only assume it was an excuse the Chu Heavenly Clan was using to protect him.
"Wait — wasn't it Young Friend Chu Zhiyuan who entered the Upper Realm Gate? So why are the Li Heavenly Clan juniors insisting it was Chu Feng and not Young Friend Chu Zhiyuan?"
"Could it be that Chu Feng really isn't dead, and Chu Zhiyuan was the one lying?"
