Chu Feng stared at the compass, and before long, his vision began to blur.
He could no longer make out the contents of the compass, let alone decipher them.
Yet under these circumstances, Chu Feng felt not a shred of panic — quite the opposite, in fact. He was secretly delighted.
Though his vision had grown hazy, the sensation of his Heavenly Eyes on the verge of breaking through was growing ever stronger.
Chu Feng knew with absolute clarity that his Heavenly Eyes were about to advance, to step into an entirely new realm.
However, Liangqiu Hongyue had already begun setting up her formation, and she worked remarkably fast.
Throughout it all, Chu Feng simply stood rooted in place, his gaze fixed unblinkingly on the compass. He didn't move a muscle, and he didn't even blink.
The spectators had no way of knowing that Chu Feng's Heavenly Eyes were about to break through, so from their perspective, they only noticed that Liangqiu Hongyue had been working on her formation for quite some time now, while Chu Feng remained completely unresponsive — like a fool standing there doing nothing.
"What's going on? Why is Chu Feng's solving speed getting slower and slower?"
The brows of the Starfall Sacred Ground disciples furrowed ever more tightly.
Meanwhile, the mocking smiles on the faces of the Nine Mystic Sect disciples climbed ever higher.
Chu Feng had indeed been beaten by Liangqiu Hongyue several times in a row before, but only by a narrow margin.
Now, however, Liangqiu Hongyue's formation was nearly complete, and Chu Feng still hadn't reacted. This wasn't just a little slower — it was an enormous gap.
Hummm—
At that moment, Liangqiu Hongyue's formation activated. When the dazzling pillar of light merged with the compass, the door to the fifth inheritance point swung open swiftly.
But even though Liangqiu Hongyue had already cracked the inheritance point, Chu Feng's eyes remained locked on it, motionless, without the slightest reaction.
Liangqiu Hongyue turned to look at Chu Feng, her attitude growing even more arrogant. She wanted to flaunt the fruits of her victory.
Yet Chu Feng didn't so much as glance at her. He just stood there, which irritated Liangqiu Hongyue to no end. She snapped in an unpleasant tone:
"Chu Feng, the outcome is decided. Do you really want to keep going?"
After those words left her lips, Chu Feng's gaze didn't shift — he still didn't look at Liangqiu Hongyue.
Instead, he raised his arm and made a silencing gesture toward her.
"What do you mean by that?" Liangqiu Hongyue asked.
"Don't talk."
Chu Feng spoke in an ice-cold tone that carried the unmistakable weight of a command.
"You!!!"
Hearing this, Liangqiu Hongyue's eyes blazed with fury.
She had already defeated Chu Feng. The least he could do was concede gracefully, yet here he was daring to speak to her in such a tone. It was absolutely infuriating.
"What's wrong with this Chu Feng? Don't tell me he's been triggered?"
"How can someone who lost so badly still put on airs? Has he gone stupid?"
At the same time, the Nine Mystic Sect disciples let out sarcastic laughter.
But Chu Feng paid them no mind whatsoever, because he was already lost in his joy.
"Egg, I did it. My Heavenly Eyes have finally broken through."
Overjoyed, Chu Feng addressed Her Majesty.
"They have? Really?" Her Majesty could hardly believe it.
"Really. When have I ever lied to you?" Chu Feng said with utter certainty.
"Wonderful. So with your current Heavenly Eyes, do you think you can surpass that girl's observation skills?" Her Majesty asked.
"There should be no problem," Chu Feng replied.
"Then what are you waiting for? Go teach that ignorant girl a proper lesson!" Her Majesty urged.
"As you wish." With those words, Chu Feng finally moved. He looked at Liangqiu Hongyue and uttered just two words: "Let's continue."
Then he strode straight toward the sixth inheritance point.
"You?!!!"
Liangqiu Hongyue watched Chu Feng walk right past her, her body trembling with rage.
She simply couldn't fathom what he had to be arrogant about. He was the loser, for crying out loud!
"This guy lost so badly, and yet he's strutting around like he won. Did he really get triggered into idiocy?"
As they watched Chu Feng swagger past them, the Nine Mystic Sect disciples exchanged bewildered glances.
Even the Starfall Sacred Ground disciples looked utterly confused.
"Hmph."
As for Liangqiu Hongyue, she let out a cold snort and followed Chu Feng to the sixth inheritance point.
Chu Feng wasn't looking at the compass — he was waiting for Liangqiu Hongyue. Once she arrived, he asked: "Are you ready?"
"Let's get on with it," Liangqiu Hongyue said irritably.
The next instant, Chu Feng and Liangqiu Hongyue both turned their gazes toward the compass.
