"Auntie, what are those flags for?" Chu Feng was even more curious about the purpose of those two flags.
He could tell that although the two flags looked worn and tattered, they were in fact extraordinary treasures.
"Those two flags were also left by that expert. Inside the Divine Mountain, there is immense pressure — one's cultivation becomes restricted within it. But if you carry these flags, a portion of that restriction is lifted," Song Xi's mother explained.
"There's actually such a treasure?" Chu Feng took the flags and examined them carefully. The more he looked, the more astonished he became.
He was astonished by how powerful these small flags were. After all, Chu Feng had entered that Divine Mountain before. He could feel that the oppressive force within it was far from ordinary — most people who entered would have their power completely suppressed.
Yet these small flags possessed the ability to break free from that restraint. Even if they only nullified a portion of the restriction, it was already proof of their formidable nature.
"The expert said that these were also gifted to him, and the person who gave them to him was the very one who revealed the secret of the Divine Mountain to him. That person was someone even the expert himself referred to as an expert," Song Xi's mother said.
"No wonder." Chu Feng nodded.
That expert was clearly no ordinary figure, and someone whom even he called an expert must be even more formidable.
With that in mind, it would actually be strange if such a small flag — originating from someone of that caliber — wasn't powerful.
"Oh no, my map is gone."
But just at that moment, Song Xi's mother's expression suddenly changed.
She frantically searched through her clothes. Clearly, she hadn't placed the map inside her Universe Bag but had been carrying it on her person.
"They must have taken it. What are we going to do now?" Song Xi's mother panicked. The "they" she referred to was undoubtedly the Taishan Gate.
"Auntie, don't panic. I should know the location," Chu Feng said.
"You know it?" Hearing Chu Feng say this, not only Song Xi's mother but even Song Xi himself was surprised.
"Is the gate like this?" As Chu Feng spoke, he used his formation art to sketch out the appearance of that eerie gate.
"Yes, that's it — this is it." Song Xi's mother nodded repeatedly, then asked Chu Feng, "Lord Chu Feng, how did you find that place?"
"Just a coincidence," Chu Feng said.
After that, Chu Feng led Song Xi and his mother toward the eerie gate.
Under normal circumstances, reaching the location of that eerie gate would have taken quite some time.
But with the flags in hand, Chu Feng found that his power was indeed no longer restricted as before.
Although he still couldn't fly, he was able to use his martial skills and secret techniques once more.
With this advantage, Chu Feng's speed was incredibly fast. What would have originally taken days of travel, he accomplished in a mere half-day.
Chu Feng arrived precisely at the location of the eerie gate. And upon seeing it, Song Xi's mother confirmed that this was indeed the remnant left behind by that expert.
Chu Feng used the key to open the gate, and a long corridor materialized before them.
However, looking at the deep, dark corridor stretching out ahead, Chu Feng's brow furrowed.
The aura emanating from this corridor was even more terrifying than the gate itself — it felt as though the path it led to was none other than the depths of hell.
"Lord Chu Feng, there are no traps here. We can proceed safely," Song Xi's mother spoke up.
Only after hearing this did Chu Feng dare to move forward. Even so, he didn't dare let his guard down.
However, just as Song Xi's mother had said, as they continued along, although the terrifying aura and the chilling sensation only grew stronger, they never actually encountered any real danger.
And so, Chu Feng grew bolder and quickened his pace.
