This was because, at this very moment, a brilliant, radiant formation had appeared before
The formation was enormous, like a second sun blazing on the ocean floor, illuminating the depths with blinding light.
Most importantly, within that formation were five colossal figures.
Four of them each stretched several hundred meters in length — they were the true forms of the Four Sacred Beasts: Azure Dragon,
But there was a fifth colossal figure situated in the midst of the four Sacred Beasts, and this one was truly staggering — several thousand meters in length, far larger than any of the four Sacred Beasts combined. Even all four of them put together would not amount to half its size. It was a humanoid monstrosity, its body a deep, blazing crimson, its face twisted and savage, resembling nothing less than a demon from the depths of hell. It was utterly terrifying.
This terror was different from the ferocity of ordinary demon beasts — it was the kind that gripped your very soul, that made your instincts scream with dread.
"That is the true body of the
Just then, the four Sacred Beasts emerged from within Chu Feng, taking positions on either side of him as they gazed down at the sight below.
"So this is the Magma Emperor? It's enormous." In truth, the moment Chu Feng had laid eyes on the colossal figure, he had already guessed that it was the Magma Emperor's true body — but the sheer scale of it still left him astounded.
Even seeing only the remains, Chu Feng could imagine just how terrifying the Magma Emperor had been when it had rampaged across the Martial Sacred Land in its prime. That must have been a true catastrophe.
"There's no need to fear. After all this time, it died long ago. What you see now is nothing more than a genuine corpse — it poses no threat whatsoever," said the Azure Dragon.
"So all I need to do is undo this formation, and you'll be able to merge with your physical bodies and restore your cultivation?" Chu Feng asked.
"That is correct." The four Sacred Beasts nodded in unison.
"Then let's get started." Having received confirmation, Chu Feng wasted no time — he was more eager than anyone to see the four Sacred Beasts restored to their true forms.
After all, they were Sacred Beasts, existences that stood above demon beasts, and in the current Martial Sacred Land, they were virtually unheard of.
The formation was no ordinary work. Even after ten thousand years, it was no simple matter to unravel — not even with Chu Feng's mastery of barrier arts.
Chu Feng spent a full three days setting up his own formation to counteract the seal, and once it was activated, another two full days passed before the ancient sealing formation was finally brought down.
By all logic, the seal should have weakened considerably over ten thousand years, and yet Chu Feng had still been forced to exert such tremendous effort. That alone spoke volumes about just how formidable this sealing formation truly was.
"Condense the Blade!!!"
Suddenly, Chu Feng pressed his palms together and let out a mighty shout. A blinding radiance erupted from his joined palms, and when he extended his fingers, that searing light poured forth from between them, coalescing into a massive blade of light over a thousand meters long.
Chu Feng swung the luminous blade down upon the sealing formation below.
BOOM BOOM BOOM—
In an instant, deafening roars erupted, fierce gales howled to life, and the surrounding seawater began to boil violently.
"Disperse."
Yet even amid such cataclysmic chaos, Chu Feng merely flicked his sleeve with a casual wave — and every anomaly vanished, restoring the waters to their former tranquility.
As the turbulent seas calmed and visibility returned, the four Sacred Beasts were so overwhelmed with emotion that even their enormous souls trembled. Separated from their physical bodies for so many years, surviving only through secret techniques — that suffocating confinement, that bitter suffering, only they truly understood.
And now, at last, they could reclaim their physical forms and live once more as living beings. Their excitement, their elation, their wild joy — it was beyond words.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh—
In the blink of an eye, four streaks of light shot upward. The four Sacred Beasts had launched themselves toward their respective bodies with breathtaking speed.
Their velocity was so tremendous that it churned the surrounding waters into massive underwater currents once more.
But after the four Sacred Beasts entered their bodies, not a single sound emerged. And once the currents they had created subsided, the waters fell utterly silent — a silence so deep it was almost frightening.
Yet Chu Feng continued to stare at the four Sacred Beasts' bodies, his gaze unwavering. And throughout his entire body, an unmistakable aura radiated from him — the tension of someone holding his breath, waiting for the impossible to become real.
