"There's a legend that deep within the Blood Devouring Formation, there's not just the Blood Devouring Worms. There's also a very special creature—stupid but really interesting," Miaomiao said.
"Stupid but interesting? What kind of creature?" Chu Feng asked curiously.
He figured that any creature capable of surviving in a place like this had to be extraordinary. And since Miaomiao was describing it as something wondrous, it was almost certainly far from ordinary.
"I'm not exactly sure what it looks like. I only heard from my father that the creature dates back to ancient times and, for reasons unknown, hid itself deep within the Blood Devouring Formation."
"My father also said the creature is quite foolish, yet possesses a special power that seems to be of tremendous use to Spirit World Masters."
"On top of that, the creature can speak the moment it's born. And once born, it typically regards the first living being it sees as its parent—loyal to that person for life."
"You happen to be an incredibly powerful Spirit World Master. If you could run into this creature, it would be like adding wings to a tiger," Miaomiao said.
"Hearing you put it that way, I'm starting to hope this legend is real," Chu Feng said with a chuckle.
Afterward, over the following days, Chu Feng and Miaomiao continued their search for the Ancient Immortal Flower.
Chu Feng employed his Heavenly Eyes to observe their surroundings with meticulous care, while Miaomiao relied on her special perceptive abilities to explore as thoroughly as she could.
However, three days passed in the blink of an eye, and the pair still hadn't found a single clue.
