was a forbidden land, the entire mountain heavily sealed off.

Unless one possessed the ability to fly, the only way into the was through the entrances.

The had a total of eight entrances, each guarded by an elder, and they were only opened during the Spirit Herb Hunting event.

Right now, all eight entrances were open. Any Inner Sect disciple holding a token could enter. Nearly a hundred thousand disciples were pouring in from all directions.

“The truly is a wondrous place,” mused as he strolled through it. His gaze was drawn to the towering trees and dense thickets.

It was his first time seeing such beautiful plants. Even the fragrance of the flowers was much richer here than elsewhere, intoxicating like a paradise.

“Earth Spirit Herb?” suddenly noticed a peculiar plant.

Five inches tall, with four leaves, entirely emerald green, covered in a faint glow. It was unmistakably the low-grade Spirit Herb, the Earth Spirit Herb.

“Pfft.” But before he could approach, the Earth Spirit Herb shrank back, attempting to flee.

“Whoosh.”

Seeing this, lunged, but he was still a step too slow. By the time he reached it, the Earth Spirit Herb had already burrowed deep into the ground.

“This thing really is intelligent.” gave a wry laugh but wasn't flustered. He swept his gaze around the area.

He already knew that the Earth Spirit Herb could escape through the ground, but it had to resurface at set intervals, and its escape path was usually a straight line.

So figured that as long as he determined its escape trajectory, catching it with his speed wouldn't be difficult.

“Whoosh.”

Just then, a fluorescent light flashed not far away, and an Earth Spirit Herb shot out from underground. It was clearly the very same one that had just escaped.

But as soon as it showed itself, it dove back into the earth, continuing its flight.

Overjoyed, leaped forward, taking several long strides in a single bound, and then soared into the air like a nimble rabbit. Forming his hand into an eagle's claw, he snatched at an empty patch of ground ahead.

“Whoosh.” Just as had expected, the moment he was about to land, the Earth Spirit Herb burst out of the soil again.

This time, however, was faster. Before it could escape, his large hand had already firmly grasped its stem, and he yanked it straight out of the ground.

“Squeak, squeak!”

Once it left the ground, the Earth Spirit Herb began to emit a piercing sound. Waves of a powerful struggling force came from it.

The struggle only lasted for a short while, however, before rapidly weakening. In the end, the Earth Spirit Herb flashed with light, began to shrink, and finally turned into something the length of a finger.

“This stuff really is strange.”

A Spirit Herb loses its spirit upon leaving the soil, and without its spirit, its size greatly diminishes.

Still, that was something he had only heard about. When a five-inch-long Earth Spirit Herb shrinks from five inches to less than half an inch right before your eyes, it would amaze anyone.

“Humm.”

Having subdued the Earth Spirit Herb, placed his palms together and formed a technique. A powerful suction force surged from his Dantian, and in the blink of an eye, the herb in his palm was completely refined.

“Tsk tsk, this thing really isn't enough to fill the gaps between your teeth,” said with a wry smile.

The Earth Spirit Herb was merely a low-grade Spirit Herb. The Spiritual Energy it contained was several times inferior to that of a Spirit Herb. If he intended to rely on it to feed that Divine Thunder, he would need a truly terrifying amount.

Resigned, continued on his way, heading straight for the depths of the mountain forest.

The was divided into the Inner Area, the Central Area, and the Outer Area.
