"This definitely doesn't count as cheating!" Su Mei hurriedly explained.
"Then what does it count as?" Chu Feng was quite curious.
"This? At most, it's just a little help I'm providing you personally, out of friendship." Su Mei flashed a sweet smile, then pointed toward the crowd not far away and said in a low voice: "Don't you dare let your guard down. These aren't just Azure Dragon Sect disciples — they're from first-rate sects. In some respects, what they've learned is genuinely stronger than ours."
"That said, I believe in you. Their cultivation may be higher than yours right now, but they're all older too. I'm sure that once you turn eighteen, you'll surpass every single one of them."
After saying this, Su Mei clasped her hands behind her back and bounced over to Su Rou's side. The two sisters waved to Chu Feng together, then left hand in hand.
Watching the pair of sisters, Chu Feng felt a swirl of complicated emotions. He had already suspected that Su Rou and Su Mei held special statuses, but he never expected it to be this impressive.

If these sisters were in the Azure Dragon Sect, it probably wasn't to recruit talented people — with their family's influence, plenty of powerful individuals would willingly serve them. So why bother recruiting anyone?

Chu Feng felt uneasy. Despite how well Su Rou and Su Mei treated him now, he hadn't forgotten that they had first approached him with an ulterior motive.
"That little girl Su Mei has probably fallen for you, kid. Don't break her heart." Suddenly, a pleasant voice rang out — Egg from within his spiritual world.
"Oh? How would you know?" Chu Feng asked with a grin.
"It's a woman's intuition. But you'd better not have any bad thoughts about her — she's still young, so don't ruin things for her. My advice? Go after the older sister first."
"Whoa, what kind of thoughts are running through your head?" Chu Feng understood exactly what Egg meant but hadn't expected her to be so blunt about it.
"Don't play innocent. You dare tell me you haven't thought about going after those sisters?" Egg scoffed dismissively.
"What I'd most like to do right now is go after you." Chu Feng grinned wickedly.
"You wouldn't dare!" Egg sounded a little nervous and quickly changed the subject. "You might be about to get incredibly lucky this time, kid."
"What do you mean?" Chu Feng was puzzled.
"That red mist Su Mei mentioned — there's probably an ancient burial ground underneath it!"
"Ancient burial ground? What is that?!"
"You wouldn't understand even if I explained. When the time comes, head into the Ghost Horn Forest and go explore that red area. If it really is an ancient burial ground, you're sure to come away with some good stuff."
Egg kept him in suspense, and Chu Feng didn't press further. He knew she wouldn't harm him — after all, they had formed a Spiritual Contract. If his life were ever truly in danger, his spiritual world would collapse, and with Egg's current cultivation, she would almost certainly perish along with it.
