The Rose School demigod, hidden in a dark corner, wore a hooded black robe and a golden mask with red and black stripes covering his face. One couldn't tell if he was fat or thin, but he was definitely tall, at least 1.8 meters.
After using a sealed artefact of the Thief pathway to steal the coffin of Tutankhamun II to his side, his body immediately became faint and transparent, stretching and elongating as if turning into a thick, long, and soft rope.
This nearly transparent rope quickly wound around the heavy golden coffin, intending to bring it into the Spirit World.
Just then, a violent wind suddenly sounded in the ears of the Rose School demigod. As it collided with the air, it produced an explosive sound:
Boom!
The golden coffin of Tutankhamun II was sent flying, and the transparent rope around it snapped apart, shrinking back into human form.
The Rose School demigod first uncontrollably floated diagonally upward, then transformed into a vengeful spirit—no, an evil spirit—allowing the fierce wind to pass through his body, no longer moving with it.
He saw the air currents rapidly spinning, and an unchecked tornado suddenly rose from the ground, sweeping up stones, gravel, debris, and the tops of some port buildings into the air. Even the carriage that had been running on its own flew up due to its proximity, breaking apart into pieces of wood in the wind.
Seemingly fortunate but actually natural, the dark area where the Rose School demigod had been hiding had no Loen soldiers and was far from the main road.
The lady wearing a thorn crown and a black evening dress was pushed back by the tornado, unable to rush to the golden coffin thrown into the air in time. She could only turn sideways and look toward a warehouse far from the port area.
Then she looked back at the Rose School demigod, as he was not affected by the tornado.
"Bind!" The lady, also wearing a golden mask, raised her left hand and made a grasping motion, seemingly holding the enemy's figure in sight.
The Rose School demigod had a strong spiritual intuition and could always sense danger from the Spirit World in advance. He was half a step ahead, using a "Mirror Flash" to jump onto a piece of broken glass seventy or eighty meters away.
At that moment, the tornado seemed to lose its sustaining force and quickly subsided.
Pat, pat, pat! One by one, the debris fell to the ground, including the golden coffin of Tutankhamun II.
Bang!
It hit the ground, creating a crater. The structure, already nearly disintegrating in the tornado, completely collapsed:
The top lid flew off, and the gold and gems from the burial offerings scattered around with the first two layers of the coffin.
Then the bottom coffin rolled a few times, spilling gold boxes and jade jars containing shriveled internal organs.
A body wrapped in yellowish-brown linen strips also rolled out, its surface stained with dark red, oily liquid.
This was the mummy made from Tutankhamun II after his death. It was extremely thin, wearing a mask similar to that of the Rose School demigod, with gold base and colored patterns, and pure black gems set in its eye sockets.
As soon as this mummy appeared, the surroundings seemed to dim a bit. The golden coffin came to a stop, and dark red liquid gushed out, soaking the soil near the pit.
The Rose School demigod who held the Thief pathway sealed artefact first looked angry at this sight, then thought of something, and his eyes turned delighted.
His figure suddenly disappeared from the broken glass, ready to flash onto the two black gem "eyes" of Tutankhamun II, then possess and control the mummy to enter the Spirit World!
Suddenly, the mummy that he sensed—in his evil spirit vision—was gone.
At the same time, the mummy of Tutankhamun II, with its golden crown askew, suddenly sprang up, turning its gem-embedded face toward one of the lighthouses in Pritz Harbour.
This pharaoh, dead for countless centuries, let out a terrible sound from his throat that was not human, and his thin legs wrapped in yellowish-brown bandages took big strides and ran wildly!
It seemed to be running for freedom, but it forgot one thing: it was a corpse, it should lie quietly.
Thump! Thump! Thump! The mummy of Tutankhamun II accelerated at once.
Seeing this, the evening dress lady with the thorn crown raised her right palm and aimed at the mutated mummy.
"All the dead shall rest." She uttered a few words in ancient Hermes.
Bang!
The mummy of Tutankhamun II pushed off the ground with its feet, leaped to another direction, moving with an agility that didn't match a corpse, escaping the area where the dead rest eternally.
Not far away, the man with black hair and golden eyes who was chasing "the Silencer" Mahams narrowed his eyes, and the ring on his finger once again emitted a crystal-like light.
His figure then teleported in front of the mummy, trying to stop the dead one from going further.
But Tutankhamun II changed direction again, charging from another angle.
It kept changing its direction of advance, seemingly heading toward the lighthouse with erratic movements.
"The Silencer" Mahams' heart stirred, and his figure suddenly disappeared, flashing onto a piece of broken glass not far from the mummy.
