Dorian 's question didn't surprise Fors; over a month of correspondence had prepared her mentally. She had even specifically consulted the experienced "Hanged Man" at the Tarot Gathering, grasping the proper expression and reaction to seem normal.

"Is there really such a Beyonder?" Fors asked in "astonishment."

Dorian nodded slightly: "Yes."

He looked around, saw no one nearby, so walked to a tree whose leaves had all fallen and placed his hand on it.

Dorian's figure suddenly blurred, as if becoming an image reflected in water.

When it became clear, he had already appeared behind the tree, his posture unchanged.

"God! This is, this is truly amazing!" Fors remembered the teachings of the "Hanged Man" and "Justice" lady, opened her mouth in a half-circle shape, and exclaimed.

Dorian walked back, smiled and asked again: "Do you want to become such a Beyonder?"

"...Yes!" Fors paused briefly, then answered "excitedly."

Finally, she was about to become an external member of the Abraham family; many things would become much easier in the future! She felt sincere joy inside.

Dorian chuckled, then became serious, and asked solemnly: "Are you willing to become my student?"

Fors nodded repeatedly: "Willing!"

Dorian breathed a sigh of relief, then self-deprecatingly said: "I am not a good teacher. I even taught, ah, there's no need to mention past things. In short, don't set your expectations too high."

After considering during this period, he decided to learn from past experience and not tell Fors about the Abraham family's matters, only to treat their relationship as purely teacher and student, so there would be no need to worry about her coveting the few remaining super powerful magical items in the family.

"No, your explanation of mystical knowledge is excellent, really, Mr. Gray, no, teacher." Fors quickly confirmed their relationship.

Dorian looked at the gravestones, shook his head and sighed: "I originally didn't plan to teach any more students, but your noble character moved me.

"Barring any accidents, I can give you the corresponding potion today."

"Today?" Fors asked in surprise.

When she went to pick up Dorian Gray at station, she noticed he only carried a small leather suitcase, barely enough to hold a set of spare clothes, with no evidence he had brought extraordinary materials.

Could he have his own resource channels in Backlund, belonging to the Abraham family? Fors vaguely guessed.

She had originally planned to use the inconvenience of being in separate places to sell the obtained "Apprentice" potion extraordinary materials, then tell him she had successfully advanced to become a Beyonder. That way, she could not only gain a substantial amount of cash but also avoid the unfortunate outcome of having to consume the "Apprentice" potion again and spend another period digesting.

"Yes." Dorian didn't explain, pointed in another direction, "Let's go see Lauro and Anissa first."

After some mourning, the two left Green Cemetery and returned to the house Fors and Xio rented in Cherwood Borough.

And over the past month or more, Xio, who had been promoted to "Bailiff," in order to repay the heavy debts she owed, had been going out early and returning late every day, working hard to get every bounty she could. So around noon, she was unsurprisingly not at home.

"Is there a quiet room?" Dorian looked around casually.

"Many." Fors led her new teacher into the first-floor drawing room.

Dorian paced around the room, confirmed the environment, then instructed Fors to light a candle mixed with deep red sandalwood.

He then closed the door and drew the curtains.

In the flickering yellow light, he walked to the front of the candle and took out two bottles of water-like essential oil and some common herbal powders.

Performing a ritual? Isn't it supposed to be three candles? Fors watched curiously, not daring to speak rashly, as if intimidated by the atmosphere.

After completing the first part of the ritual, Dorian stepped back, his expression serious, and switched to ancient language:

"I!

"I summon in my name:

"The peculiar spirit roaming the upper realm, the void creature that loves music, the contract partner of ."

Woo!

A sudden wind blew in the drawing room, carrying a trembling sob, and the flickering candle flame turned a deep blue.

Ripples of light quickly spread out, seemingly forming a door beyond normal concepts.

A half-illusory, half-real spherical object flew out from the "bottom" of the light ring.

It was milky white all over, without eyes, nose, arms, legs, etc., only a slit that seemed to be a mouth on its surface.

Dorian revealed a clear smile, opened his mouth, and hummed a folk-style lullaby.

The "sphere" immediately swayed left and right, appearing very pleased.

After humming one tune, Dorian reached out his hand.
