Chapter 1272: The Seven Lights

Hearing Indigo Light Hesus's answer, Klein's mind tensed as various celestial bodies successively surfaced in his thoughts—the Red Moon, the Brown Star, the Crimson Star, the Blue Star, the Golden Star—giving him the sensation that they were all eyes, gazing down at him from on high.

As an Angel who commanded the Sefirah Castle, Klein had numerous ways to sever this connection: first, by utilizing the station and power of a complete mythological being; second, by suppressing his own anchors and borrowing the spiritual imprint left behind by the "Primordial"; and third, by relying on the aura of the Sefirah Castle that he could currently mobilize to a greater degree.

Without hesitation, he chose the simplest, most convenient method that would also leave the fewest potential dangers.

A hazy, grayish-white mist faintly manifested around his body, and the various celestial projections in his mind vanished along with it.

After freezing for a second, Klein organized his words and said: "So many Outer Deities?"

Indigo Light Hesus was the symbol of the "prayer" domain. In any case, these three 'Old Ones' who have lost portions of their Sefirot and characteristics are the most concerned about and proactive in eroding reality. They have been continuously attempting to influence the Spirit World and corrupt us."

Klein gave a slight nod and asked in a tone seeking confirmation: "So you're saying that among the current twenty-two Pathways and nine types of Sefirot, some belong to the Outer Deities?"

"Yes." Saint Germain, who held an amethyst and symbolized the domain of "Ritualistic Magic," seized the opportunity to answer. "Only when the twenty-two Pathways and nine types of Sefirot were all accounted for did everything reach balance. This is perhaps a mystical connection originating from 'the Original.'"

Klein considered for a moment and said: "Which ones specifically?"

With a faint purple glow shrouding his face, lending him a rather mysterious air, Saint Germain said: "For example, 'The Moon' and 'The Earth' Pathways—they both belong to that 'Fallen Mother God.' Just as Saint Germain said this, Green Light Serapis suddenly let out a laugh: "In fact, if you analyze those twenty-two Pathways carefully, you'll find that 'The Moon' and 'The Earth' are the most dissonant. Heh heh, the 'Witch' Pathway represents the feminine aspect of the 'Primordial,' the 'Red Priest' Pathway represents the masculine domain of the 'Primordial'—they form a certain grotesque symmetry. But 'The Moon' and 'The Earth' can also transform their Beyonder s into feminine beings at high Sequences, and no other Pathway symmetrizes with them."

At this point, El. Moria paused briefly before continuing: "Her full titles are: 'Fallen Mother God,' 'Origin of Evil,' 'The Undying,' and 'The Filthy Brood Hive.'"

Klein recalled the Moon's exaggerated reaction when he had first learned the secret of the "starry sky," and a chill rose unbidden through him. He quickly changed the subject: "The 'Demon' and 'Prisoner' Pathways come from the 'Tree of Desire of Desires'?"

"Yellow Light" Veniton, clad in a lemon-yellow robe, sighed: "Mm. Its full titles are 'Tree of Desire of Desires,' 'Father of Demons,' 'The Eternal Roarer,' and 'The God Who Lost His Heart.'
