At the same time, a noticeable squirming occurred on Kalaman’s right shoulder; something tore through his black robe and emerged.
It was an exquisitely crafted male doll, only the size of a palm, dressed in a dark red gown with gold trim. Its eyes had been gouged out by someone, leaving only two empty sockets.
The doll sat on Kalaman’s shoulder, raising its hands and pressing its fingers repeatedly, as if playing an invisible musical instrument.
Sharon’s figure was instantly ejected from behind Kalaman, as if suffering severe repulsion.
Emlyn then felt his clothes tighten, firmly binding him.
His bow tie also came to life, threatening to strangle him in midair.
That doll was a Level 1 sealed artefact given to Kalaman by the Rose School, called the Eyeless General, formed after an accidental death of a Sequence 4 demigod from the Chimera Pathway.
It has a living characteristic, capable of possessing spiritual beings and animating inanimate objects according to the holder’s will, but the owner must regularly feed it their own flesh and blood, otherwise it will gradually grow eyes.
And if this sealed artefact becomes intact, it will transform into an evil spirit that frantically hunts its original master and despises all humans.
When Emlyn heard his bones creak under the strain, the Pure White Gaze that burned his soul burst into clear radiance, turning the surrounding area into a realm of no darkness and no evil.
The Eyeless General’s influence on his clothes was interrupted.
But at that moment, Kalaman had already mumbled a certain word, with a cruel smile, reached forward with both hands, and pulled open in thin air a hazy, illusory door engraved with many mysterious symbols.
