The boundless
The fierce flame condensed into a sphere, seeming to have raised a brilliant white sun within this mysterious space.
Howling hurricane winds overturned the mottled long table, snapped thick stone pillars, and half the palace collapsed with a crash.
Klein, seated in the "Mr. Fool" position, first felt his head boil, then it burst with numerous holes, and from the broken edges crawled one blackened worm after another.
He did not die, but very calmly reached out his right hand and lightly tapped the arm of the high-backed chair.
The mysterious space above the Gray Fog shook noticeably as layers of power surged out, calming the hurricane, extinguishing the flames, and making that burning white sun quickly dissipate inch by inch.
The thick stone pillars stood again, the mottled long table returned to its original state, and the magnificent and sacred palace seemed never to have collapsed or been damaged.
Klein's head instantly restored, the crawling worms fading from black to transparent, and they crawled back in.
"Indeed stronger than Ankewelder the Illusory Dragon..." Klein muttered, his expression twisting uncontrollably, and he couldn't help raising his hand to rub his forehead. "Pain... this pain is also significantly stronger..."
While muttering, he tapped the edge of the mottled long table, causing the mysterious space above the Gray Fog to oscillate once more.
Within the tremor, a dark, thick shadow suddenly emerged on the palace floor.
This shadow twisted and struggled, but was eventually swept clean by the power of the Gray Fog, leaving no trace.
After tens of seconds, Klein truly calmed down and recalled the scenes he had just seen: "That must be the
"From the cross pendant He wore and the words 'Let there be light', He is most likely the first transmigrator, perhaps European or American, and probably had a church background...
"The language He used was one that could mobilize natural forces, similar to the
"He transmigrated there and inherited a rich legacy?
"The second scene was before He was betrayed and then devoured by the three Archangel Kings of Pure White, Wisdom, and Wind?
"For a deity who called Himself the Creator, that kind of tangible pain and distortion would only appear in such a state...
"Hmm, the divine blood He shed before falling merged with the silver cross, changing its form and turning it into a rather high-level sealed artifact.
"Looking at this, this 'Unshadowed Cross' either ended up in the hands of one of the three Archangel Kings of Pure White, Wisdom, and Wind, or fell into the hands of Amon or Adam. For Them, this is an important relic of Their father.
"The former possibility is not too high; the positive and negative effects of this cross are very useful, and its origin is a secret that must be concealed. No one would give it to the Augustus family... If so, is it truly Adam's arrangement?
"Why did He naturally and reasonably give the 'Unshadowed Cross' to Miss Magician or Miss Hierophant?
"Through certain observations, did He discover that those two ladies believe in Mr. Fool?
"Is this cross for 'Mr. Fool', who does not belong to this era?
"Does He want to know where His father, who also does not belong to this era, came from? But the problem is, how does He intend to ask questions, and how will He get answers?
"The Creator of the City of Silver truly has a very high status; He was able to detect my 'spying' across a long history, casting His gaze toward above the Gray Fog, toward this mysterious space, and the effects, besides visible destruction, also included invisible erosion, producing a strange shadow that almost lurked there...
"Does this mean that after grasping multiple Authorities, the status of a deity undergoes a qualitative change?
"And what does that low mumble of 'Mysteries' mean? Is it referring to me, or the original master of this mysterious space?"
One question after another flashed through Klein's mind, giving him many guesses but unable to reach a final answer.
Based on his fear of Adam, he felt that it would be better for this "Unshadowed Cross" to be destroyed by the divine-level sealed artifact of the City of Silver and recombined into pure Beyonder characteristics.
Withdrawing his thoughts, suppressing the questions back into his mind, Klein materialized new paper and pen and wrote down the knowledge he had gained from directly looking upon the Creator of the City of Silver: "Sequence 4: The Unshadowed.
"Main ingredients: a drop of 'Sun' god's blood, or three tail feathers of an adult Sun God Bird plus a piece of Sacred Glowstone.
"Supplementary materials: 60 ml of Sun God Bird blood, 30 ml of Sacred Glowstone associated solution, 7 drops of mutated golden bergamot juice, 10 grams of magma heart powder.
"Ceremony: Peel away the strongest and most unwilling emotions, then consume the potion, and during the process, feed back these emotions."
"Sequence 3: Justice Mentor..."
"Sequence 4: Black Knight..."
"Sequence 3: Three-Headed Sanctuary..."
After doing these things, Klein picked up the bronze-green cross again, looked at it with a grave expression for a while.
Then, he threw this "Unshadowed Cross" into the pile of junk, and mobilized the power of the mysterious space above the Gray Fog to suppress it, lest the next time he came up, the paper figures he had cut would already be praising the sun.
