The royal army numbered one hundred thousand.
Its supreme commander was Crown Prince Richard Aiwood. The deputy commander was Knight Commander Iljas, Marquis Cattleya.
The rebel army numbered seventy thousand.
The nominal commander was Third Prince Rodele Aiwood. The de facto commander was Berrio, Marquis Eiger.
There had been talk of the Imperial Army's involvement, but... it was merely that some mercenaries from the Empire were among a portion of the rebel forces, and no clear evidence had been presented.
The royal army's dead numbered four hundred. The wounded, eight hundred and fifty.
The rebel army's dead numbered twelve thousand five hundred. The wounded exceeded thirty thousand. The soldiers who had scattered were too numerous to count.

With the rebellion's de facto leader, Marquis Eiger, slain, the nobles of the queen dowager's faction surrendered one after another.
The Marquis's mansion was also surrendered without bloodshed, and his domain was placed under the royal family's occupation with almost anticlimactic ease.
News of the victory was immediately relayed to the royal capital, and from there it spread throughout the nation, carried on people's lips and ears.
The one whose name rose due to this battle was... first and foremost, the commander, Crown Prince Richard Aiwood.
He had been known as a serious, upright, and mild-mannered crown prince, but until now he had been a rather unremarkable member of the royal family with no notable achievements to his name.
However, thanks to this overwhelming victory, he came to be recognized as a capable military leader as well, and many citizens would find relief in the knowledge that the kingdom's future was secure.
Next came his adjutant, Marquis Iljas Cattleya.
He had already made a name for himself as a knight commander, earning renown as the most formidable warrior in the kingdom.
In this war, he defeated his long-standing rival, Marquis Eiger, and spread his legend as the "God of War" to foreign nations as well.
And then… the dark horse. In a sense, the one who gained the most fame of all was the newly elevated noble, Viscount Rest Clover.
A boy who should have been nothing more than a commoner had seized the vanguard in the battle against the rebel army, and on top of that, he had defeated Rodele Aiwood, the very figurehead of the rebellion.
Though the fact that Rodele had joined the rebel army was not officially disclosed, every soldier who had participated in the fight testified that Rest had distinguished himself above all others.
His exploits were so extraordinary that they bordered on fiction — some nobles even sneered that it was blatant propaganda.
The commoners, on the other hand, were delighted that a fellow commoner had risen as a young hero, and they passed Rest's heroic tales from lip to ear.
Many other heroes were born from this civil war as well, and the old-guard nobles who had served the queen dowager were swept away.
Nobles who had joined the rebellion, starting with Marquis Eiger, were stripped of their domains and assets, and removed from power.
The principal conspirators were all executed without exception, and members of their families who had not participated in the rebellion were demoted to commoner status.
And so the shadowy veterans who had been pulling strings behind the scenes since the days of the queen dowager were destroyed, and the Kingdom of Aiwood entered a new era.
