But last night I happened to use Teleport to return to Sophia's room, so it definitely wasn't me.

The guards quietly took their leave.
For now, I reversed everyone's recognition so that they understood I wasn't the culprit. But honestly, that was just a quick, spur-of-the-moment fix on the spot.
Perceptions shift so easily that they might come back accusing me of being the culprit again before long.
I should try looking into it myself.
"Perfect Research — show me anyone other than me with a golden left eye."
…No response.
Perfect Research requires some kind of connection to the target, so I suppose that means I've never met anyone with a golden left eye before.
Odd, given that this other world has its fair share of odd-eyed people, even if they're not exactly common.
Fine, let me cut to the chase and specify the condition directly.
"Perfect Research — show me whoever framed me this time."

"Yes, there's nothing to be done about that, Tia. You were only here a short while, but you proved useful enough — I do hope you'll come back someday."
In a room of Count Minnitz's manor, where everyone was in an uproar over the theft of the family treasure, a recently hired maid was informing the head maid that she was leaving to return home.
"Then, if you'll excuse me."
The moment the maid finished her farewell greeting—
"Wait just a moment. Dark Magic — Skill Seal, Slave Choker!"
A boy who had appeared from nowhere cast several spells on the maid in rapid succession.
The head maid was startled by that alone, but she was even more shocked to see the maid's face transform after the magic took effect — from a plainly honest, countrified look to the face of an unremarkable, ordinary woman. Her hair color shifted from brown to pink as well.
"What on earth is going on?! Who is this woman?! Where is the maid I hired?!"
The head maid's barrage of questions was met with an answer from the boy.
"She has the Mimicry skill, which allows her to impersonate anyone she touches. She was almost certainly impersonating the maid you hired."
"That's a lie! Head maid, throw this brat out right now! W-What is this…?!"
Having her Mimicry sealed and her true appearance restored, Tia didn't even realize what had happened. She tried to appeal to the head maid, but caught sight of her own face in a mirror in the room and turned deathly pale.
"Why is Mimicry undone?! Was this your doing?!"
Ignoring the panicking woman, the boy continued.
"After impersonating the maid to learn where the family treasure was kept, she then impersonated me to steal the Holy Sword — the treasure of this manor — and deliberately had that disguise witnessed. And so, having been impersonated, I've come here to expose her true identity."
