"Boss!" Bei Bei cried out in alarm.

Lin Lei's face changed dramatically as well. Countless green snakes on the Netherworld Fruit Tree's leaves were all shooting toward him—whether near or far, they surged forward in a vast, sky-blanketing torrent, rushing at Lin Lei from every direction. There were so many green snakes they could easily bury him alive!

The nine enormous green snakes watched this scene with cold amusement.

"Kill this Lin Lei first, then deal with the other one." They were quite confident, after all, Lin Lei's dragon scales weren't strong enough to completely ignore the green snakes' bites.

"Hm?" Lin Lei's mind sparked.

A deep, earthy yellow radiance bloomed as massive amounts of earth elements surged together in a frenzy. Centered on Lin Lei, within a hundred-meter radius, a hundred-meter cube of earthy yellow light took shape.

Black Stone Prison!

Many green snakes were already trapped inside the Black Stone Prison, and even more were biting their way through its walls. But the moment they broke through, they found themselves in yet another sealed chamber. The green snakes immediately began biting blindly in all directions, darting about in panic.

Each sealed chamber was a cube, two and a half meters on a side.

Within this hundred-meter Black Stone Prison, there were a full sixty-four thousand such chambers.

"ROAR~" The nine furious green giant snakes thrashed their bodies violently, shattering chamber after chamber. But the instant they shattered a wall, it was repaired again. At the same time, the entire Black Stone Prison was rapidly moving, and in moments it had cast off all nine serpent spirits.

Inside the Black Stone Prison.

Lin Lei appeared abruptly in a sealed chamber, easily dispatching a portion of the green snakes within, then immediately vanished to another location. Other green snakes that sensed his presence rushed over, but by the time they arrived, Lin Lei had already relocated elsewhere.

Within the Black Stone Prison, Lin Lei's movement speed was the fastest!

Moreover, with over sixty thousand chambers and a powerful gravitational force acting on them, the green snakes simply couldn't form any encirclement.

"Think you can kill me with this trick?" Lin Lei smirked as he slaughtered the green snakes without mercy. "These little green snakes contain powerful energy too. Killing them will definitely hurt those nine serpent spirits." Lin Lei didn't mind putting in a bit more work and slaying a few more of them.

He began a frenzied massacre of the small green snakes. The Black Stone Prison was entirely under his control—he knew exactly where the snakes were few and where they were thick. Only the green snakes suffered, but they had no way to surround him. Inside the Black Stone Prison, they were effectively blind.

The nine giant snakes outside the prison were growing furious.

"What the devil is this thing?" A crisp voice rang from one of the green giant snakes as she glared at the enormous earthy yellow cube before her. "It gets destroyed, and then it repairs itself!"

"If this keeps up, it's just wasting our energy," a deep voice said. "Inside that structure, we can't kill that Lin Lei."

Immediately, under their control, the vast numbers of green snakes began frantically retreating, biting through wall after wall until they all escaped the Black Stone Prison. Every last green snake slithered back to the Netherworld Fruit Tree.

"Whoosh~" The entire Black Stone Prison dissolved into energy and dissipated.

Lin Lei and Bei Bei appeared.

"Hah, weren't you trying to kill us?" Bei Bei laughed through gritted teeth. "Come on then! Show me what else you've got!"

Lin Lei stared coldly at the nine green giant snakes.

"You are indeed quite strong!" A hoarse voice rang out, and both Lin Lei and Bei Bei turned toward the crown of the Netherworld Fruit Tree. The sound had come from there. They heard the rustling of leaves being parted as a body at least two meters thick, covered in fine golden scales, slowly glided into view.

An overwhelming aura spread outward.

Lin Lei and Bei Bei held their breath.

"Gods above." Bei Bei's eyes went wide.

"This..." Lin Lei narrowed his eyes as the golden serpent's body continued to emerge from the treetop. The portion already visible stretched one or two hundred meters. After a moment, the entire golden serpent was revealed—it was nearly five or six hundred meters long and two meters thick.

The golden serpent's body coiled around the trunk of the Netherworld Fruit Tree, its cold, jade-green eyes gazing down at Lin Lei and Bei Bei below.

"Father!" The nine green giant snakes immediately darted over.

"Father, it's them! You must avenge Big Sister!" The nine green snakes spoke in human tongues.

"Rest easy." A low, hoarse voice issued from the golden serpent's maw.

"One of them is mine." A frigid voice came from behind. Lin Lei and Bei Bei snapped their heads around. A silver serpent of comparable size to the golden one was flying toward them from the distance—and what made their blood run cold was—

Nine heads!

And each of the nine heads had eyes as black as a bottomless abyss.

"Mother." The nine green giant snakes called out.

"You're back?" the golden serpent spoke.

"My daughter is dead. How could I not return?" the silver nine-headed serpent said icily.

Bei Bei snorted: "No wonder you spawned a bunch of little freaks—the parents are monsters too!" The auras radiating from these two colossal serpents were overwhelming. Merely sensing them made Lin Lei and Bei Bei feel slightly dizzy. They understood clearly that these gold and silver serpents were far more powerful than their offspring.

"Hmph, and you're not a monster, little thing?" The golden serpent turned its jade-green eyes toward Bei Bei, brimming with cold contempt.

"The one who killed our daughter—him?" The silver nine-headed serpent fixed its gaze on Bei Bei.

"Yes," the golden serpent replied.

"Then the little one is mine," the silver nine-headed serpent rasped.

The golden serpent's massive head turned slightly toward Lin Lei: "Good. Then I'll deal with this boy from the Four Divine Beast Family! Hmph... even his ancestor, the Azure Dragon, wouldn't have dared treat our Netherworld Mountain this way. And now this descendant dares to kill our child!"

"Don't bring that up," the silver nine-headed serpent said flatly.

Lin Lei and Bei Bei exchanged a glance.

Centered on Lin Lei, an earthy yellow barrier of light instantly expanded, spreading outward nearly a thousand meters. It engulfed both the golden serpent and the silver nine-headed serpent. The two massive serpents, struck by the sudden intense gravitational force, were momentarily pushed backward, but they quickly adapted.

"Quite the gravitational pull!" The golden serpent looked at Lin Lei. "So you actually have a connection with the Netherworld's Violet Crystal God... But even so, you're still going to die!"
