The Purple Blood Soft Sword appeared as if it had teleported, slashing directly onto the javelin's shaft. The javelin shuddered, its tip grazing past Lin Lei's ear.
"It has something of the feel of a Dimensional Blade, and the speed isn't bad," Balzese said, holding the javelin and watching Lin Lei with a faint smile. "Even across the countless material planes, among Saint Realm powerhouses, you'd count among the very top. What a pity…"
Balzese's expression turned serious, and he waved his hand.

A wash of pale white light surged toward Lin Lei. Lin Lei had been on edge from the very start, and the moment the light shot toward him, he retreated without a second thought.
