Electric serpents, writhing and numerous, appeared around the sword shadow. A torrent of lightning snakes spiraled around the blade as it pierced toward the adamantium sheet. The sheet once again used the same trick, splitting open a gap to evade Fane's thrust.
The sword struck empty air, but the masses of lightning serpents seemed to possess lives of their own, shooting off in all directions at random.
The sudden barrage of lightning was too fast; the Adamantium Golem had no time to react. The lightning serpents struck the sheet all over.

"Agh~~" A pained howl arose. Many of the spots hit by the lightning serpents developed holes. But the adamantium flowed, and the sheet was once again restored to perfection. By now the adamantium sheet had descended right before Lin Lei and the others.
Lin Lei gripped the Black Jade Heavy Sword.
"Now." Lin Lei's dark-golden pupils flared with brilliant light. The Black Jade Heavy Sword in his hands seemed slow yet was in truth swift, drifting down轻轻轻 toward the adamantium sheet.
The Adamantium Golem made no effort to dodge. Earth-type attacks—there was nothing it feared.
"Pfft." Lin Lei's Black Jade Heavy Sword landed on the adamantium sheet. A powerful wave of force transmitted directly from the sword outward, instantly spreading to every part of the adamantium sheet. This "Earth Essence" attack was in fact a linear strike.
Back when Lin Lei had fought Blackstone atop Tujiao Mountain, a single sword strike had pierced clean through the mountain's interior. It was a distinctly linear form of attack.
